Here is something that I found recently online, something that I strongly believe. Be aware that the video lasts for 20 minutes, so watch it if you have some spare time to kill.

Presented By: Jane McGonigal (Bio.)
Reality is broken, says Jane McGonigal, and we need to make it work more like a game. Her work shows us how.

Games like World of Warcraft give players the means to save worlds, and incentive to learn the habits of heroes. What if we could harness this gamer power to solve real-world problems? Jane McGonigal says we can, and explains how.

yep people should play games based on their age and content, if you're still young avoid very violent games as it can influence them to do bad things

I don't know, I'm pretty sure that playing hours and hours and days and years of games like WoW or MW2 is worse than smoking some weed and then going out or doing pretty much anything else.
I haven't watched i so if she said that WoW and too much is bad then sorry :)

well it doesn't have to be WoW that you should always play, and besides, you'll get tired easily if you only play WoW

it's all depends on the person's perceptives towards video games, it they only think that it only disrupts them, them it's only negative to them, if they think it has a benefit to them, then it's very useful or helpful to them

genres, for example in fps you can improve your reflex and accuracy
puzzles can improve your logic skills
strategy games can improve how you make decisions and making tactics
rpgs can help you develop your skill in character development

without proper guidance, kids can think that their games are real, making them recreate some scenes from the game
