As stated by MMO.com "Cross Fire is a free to play MMOFPS developed by Suba Games (now run by Z8 Games), SmileGate and Neowiz. The game has been frequently compared to Counter Strike and the Operation 7 Free FPS. This massively multiplayer online first person shooter game pits mercenary known as the Black List and Global Risk forces against each other. There is no fee to play and you can purchase special items and content."

After playing the game for at least 9 months, I am yet to regret the time and money I have invested in this game. Crossfire is NOT just another Online FPS. Besides the fact that its absolutely free, gaining game points and experience is pretty easy compared to other MMOFPS's.
You also have the option of purchasing any of the approx. 20 guns and you actually get keep the guns you buy. Unlike other games, spending money to buy special items and content doesn't give the player a huge advantage either.

What sets Crossfire apart from its competitors, is its friendly and helpful staff (Blind Robs pretty cool), its community and clan-based setup. I have made a lot of friends since joining the game and my clan is a pretty tight-knit family. Alright enough chit-chat. The following illustrates a few screenshots and a video montage I have put together. Hope you like.

This game (Crossfire) is a good idea gone terribly wrong. At any given moment a new hack is introduced to the community via word of mouth. Next thing you know, all hell breaks loose. All of the sudden, people are able to take you out without seeing you and shoot through walls without you even getting a chance. The kick vote system is a good idea but totally useless if they have friends. Honestly? Fix your frikin game suba/z8. It sucks. I have several high ranking characters with decent scores but I can't operate with the hacks. That is their main problem. They invest all of this time into new maps and weapons but they can't secure their own game from hacks, like bots, wall hacks, super damage hacks (one I saw today could blow down a full door [that takes a few minutes of multiple people firing at it in order to destroy it] with one shot, glitches, kick bots (that won't let you back in game until you restart your computer, and that's not the end of it. If you are wwondering whether you should play it or not. Don't! You will spend a year or more leveling your character while idiots cheat all day on you.

One of the most frustrating things is working so hard on something only to have some noob destroy it. It's incredible. I honestly haven't seen this kind of hacking in my life. Z8Games must be selling these hacks or something. It does make sense. They create a game in which hackers rule and they enable the hackers. It makes them more money and that makes cents.

This game is a terrible waste of time. Please tell anyone you know about it or ask someone who plays/played it all about the hacks.

I'm going back to Shadowbane as soon as they launch again. Screw crossfire. Shadowbane launches a public preview of the game Friday Sept 3 2010. It's almost done and I'll be glad to be rid of all these crap games once and for all.
