If you though the Tactical Battle System (TBS) was the only new feature to be added in the upcoming Troy patch on Atlantica Online. Well think again.
A private housing system called the �My Home� system will be included to the Troy patch. The housing system lets you create a virtual home for your character; the house is customizable from the house itself up to the furnitures. This feature was inspired from the popular life simulation game The Sims.

Furnitures can be purchased and even sent as a gift to other players; players can even visit your home and vice versa, those who visit a house can receive a gift, a feature that you commonly see on Facebook games, another cool feature is when other players interact with you on your house, they can gain stat bonuses that can be helpful in PvE battles.
Aside from customizing, you can also train your mercenaries in your home, you can assign them to gather minerals, craft items etc.
This casual-like game feature is a welcome addition to the Atlantica Online game, giving more options for players to interact with each other and giving them a break after long hours of battles

ZO Event Preview: August

August is a month full of new features and missions, and also a time to earn fantastic prizes and gain honor among your comrades! Now, let's take a look at what we can expect for Zero, this month!

Weekend Event - Legend of Lost Treasure (August 7th � 8th)
Have you ever dreamt about becoming rich and powerful? Well, the treasure boxes will let your dreams take flight! Finally, the Alliance has recovered part of the lost treasure of the Ancients! We will have 4 kinds of Treasure Boxes on sale, at 10/50/100/1000 ZPs each! Remember to check out this event, on August 7th and 8th! You can receive many different kinds of rewards! Good luck to you!

Weekend Event - War of Ursa Major (August 14th � 15th)
This weekend, a representative from Ursa Major will come to the Warship and ask for our help. After you talk with him, he will present you with some ZPs (Bound). But, same as the enemy, they are good at disguising themselves. They even allowed the local raiders to steal the Honor Emblem from us! We'll need you to hunt them in all zones and retrieve the emblem. As a reward, you will gain some ZPs (Bound)!

Weekend Event � Crystals! Crystals! (August 21st � 22nd)
Are you ready? They crystal storm is coming! There will be lots of treasure boxes randomly appearing on the mission map every two hours. You need to talk to our NPC and be teleported into the correct map to scramble for those crystal packs. Good luck!

Cosmos Apocalypse 81-100
In the world of ZO, we offer you the precious chance to explore the wide and mysterious cosmos. By joining the Cosmos Apocalypse, your piloting skills and unit will be put to the test! Upon completion, you won't just claim items, but also an honorable title! You will be rewarded with a Genetic Resource Pack, 5 Lottery Tickets, 2 +3 Chomsky Atoms and 500 ZPs (Bound) if you can finish the Cosmos Apocalypse Stages 91�100!

4 New Military Badges
We have prepared 4 new kinds of Military Badges for you! They are the Assistance Badge, Peace Badge, Combat Badge and Commerce Badge. You can click the Zero Points button to enter the Shopping Mall, where you can purchase the Badge you need!

New Warships - Andromeda Warship & Armadillo Warship
The first such ship of its kind in the Alliance, the Andromeda Warship is outfitted with exceptionally-built armor that can disable negative effects that may be used by enemy spacecraft. Built to work in tandem with the Andromeda Warship, the Armadillo has its command tower situated in the aft of the ship, with the forward armor heavily layered, in order to ensure signals relayed from the Andromeda Warship cannot be jammed. Come and test them out!

New Fighters - Razor Fighter I & Razor Fighter Ⅱ
The Razor Fighter Ⅰ is one of the latest modes of the Alliance Warships, designed and built to be a single-seat hypersonic fighter. Optimized to attack both stationary and moving targets with precision guided munitions, the primary role of the Razor Fighter Ⅱ is to assist the Razor Fighter Ⅰin its attack after it paralyzes the enemy�s energy shied.

5 New Warship Armament
You can equip armaments on your warship, like a weapon battery, fighters, radar, missiles, space mines, etc. Warship level and the armaments it can equip will decide the attack and defense of the warship. Before the space war starts, warship owners can click the warship in the dockyard and purchase armaments for their ships. Purchasing is unavailable after the warship leaves the dockyard.

Squad Challenge
We are glad to tell you all about the release of the brand new Squad Challenge! The challenge time is 19:00 � 19:30 on Saturday. All squads can apply to take part in the Challenge, with the top 5 squads receiving honorable titles with special visual effects! So, come on! Fight side-by-side with your squad members, and earn glory and honor for your squad!

Research Center � Unit Intensify
Unit Intensify can perform the 5 brand-new research projects. They are Nuclear Energy, Atomic Energy, Titanaloy, Turbine Engine and Anti-gravity. Through the research into these 5 programs, the unit intensify also can research into the 3 other programs which are Potency Surge, Quanta Defense and Energy Overflow.

4 New Daily Missions: Nebula Plan/ Weapon Chips/ Barren Uranus/ Barren Pluto
You can receive these Daily Missions from the appointed NPC and you will be rewarded with lots of prizes as the reward, such as: EXP, Rose Quartz, Sapphire, Amethyst, Space Crystals, etc.

6 New Fleet Buildings
There are 6 new Fleet Buildings, as followed: Sustainer Lab, Hyperspace Lab, Training Grid, Pulsar Lab, Quantum Lab and Silicon Lab. Each Fleet Building has its own special advantages. So please remember to check it out for yourself!

Character Name Changing Function
Don't like your name? Well, how about changing to a new one? That�s right! The name changing function is finally available in ZO! You just pay the 810 ZP fee, and you can change your character name in-game! Each player can only change their name ONCE.

Change Your Fleet Base�s Name:
The Admiral, Vice Admiral, Spouse of Admiral and Honor Vice Admiral have the authority to change the Fleet Base�s name.

Android Hangar Adjustment
Destruction: New function of Android Hanger. With this function, you can discard your android.

Ultra Gear is the dream of every players in this game, full of ultra, how is that magical?

How can we pay less or free to get ourselves ultra gears or weapon? This question is especially important to the newbie.

Lets see how many methods we can make Ultra:
1. Buy from other player, the easiest way and waste no time. You may just credit zp cards or make zp in game by selling good items you collect, like mets, elite gears, polys, cores and so on;

2. Use red star, blue star and dark star to upgrade the quality of gears, but theres pct of success. [Red 25%/Blue 50%/Dark100%];

3. Spaceship Mission. Theres so many mission can award you ultra gears by chance, such as S-14, S-15, Satans Heart, Satans Eye, Sky City, Open Sesame*, but youd better check the instruction on official site before joining them;

4. Join the PKTs, you will be awarded with Ultra if you win, but you must be strong and get enough lvl to join;

5. Events Mission, like War of Ursa Major, you will gain Alliance Material Pack after you finishing the mission, and it will award you with Ultra by chance;
6. Newbie Gift, recently theres an event held by ZO official, new registered players can claim one ultra weapon for free when they reach lvl 145.

So which one is most convenient? Of course the 6th one! For newbie, I think the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th and 7th are very useful.

Compare 1 and 2, which one is better? Lets make a calculation!
Cost: Upgrading Weapon, red star=120-125, blue star=550-600, should better not use dark star to upgrade, cost its too expensive. According to the upgrade rate, averagely you need to spend 2400 ZP (with Red) or 2200 ZP (with Blue) to make one Ultra.
The market price for a normal ultra weapon is 1000-1200 ZPs. So the Answer is apparently, buy one from somebody else would be easier.

At last! Wish people having fun in game, and full of ultra!

It's summer 2010, and the most thriving and prosperous time of the year! Time to get outside and enjoy warm weather and release your pent-up energy! Or on the other hand, you could always stay cool inside, and play Zero Online with other players! We have prepared a string of fun events for our loyal players! The routine Weekend Events, Double EXP & Cores & Crystals and Gourmet Festival Event, as well as great offline events! Now, let's take a look at what we can expect for Zero, this July!

Online Events:

Shopping Mall Sales Promotion (July 3rd - 4th)
Good news! Most items in the ZP mall will be sold at a 10% discount, and there will be new ZP(Bound) packs sold, available in packs of 500/1000. You can exchange them with the ZPs you bought at the 10% discounted price! This event will only be held for 2 days, so take this great chance to buy the items you need. It's now or never!

Amphibious Battle Force (July 10th - 11th)
Players can enter each map in-order and exterminate the appointed enemies to obtain the points reward. You can exchange the points for Meteors, Amethysts, Mastery Packs and Military Badges (3 days)!

Gourmet Festival Event (July 16 - 20)
In order to celebrate the Gourmet Festival, we have prepared 3 fun events for you; they are Vanilla, Chocolate and Cake!

Vanilla: Find the appointed NPC to claim or purchase 4 kinds of cake materials, and you will obtain 3 kinds of cakes with different qualities when you finish baking. You will be awarded with EXP for eating those delicious cakes.
Chocolate: Male pilots can kill monsters to obtain some ingredients, and the female pilots can swap the ingredients for Chocolate ingredients from the NPC. Only female pilots have the right to make Chocolate! If you are a male pilot, hurry up and find your spouse!
Cake: You can talk with the NPC to learn the cake recipes, then go out and gather ingredients from the Othello. You just follow the recipe and make the cake, and you will be rewarded with EXP, Gold and Rose Quartz by eating them!

Weekend Event - Alliance Carnival (July 24th - 25th)
During the carnival, there will be a huge red box on the Steel Warship that is chock full of all kinds of gifts! What can you get from it? Just come and try your luck every hour! You'll have to make sure you have made it to at least level 80!

Routine Weekend Event (July 3rd-4th, 10th-11th, 17th-18th, 24th-25th and 31st)
The recent solar storm has caused severe damage to the Alliance's energy systems. If not enough energy ore is collected by the end of the month, the entire Alliance will grind to a halt, due to power shortages. To correct this power crisis, we will hold routine weekend events every Saturday and Sunday, where you can exchange Kr Ores you collect for ZPs! Time to do your part!

Weekend Event - Double EXP & Cores & Crystals (July 31st to August 1st)
From July 31st to August 1st, all online players will be able to enjoy free Double Exp! To be exact, you can get 200% experience from killing enemies. Don't forget to login to the game, where you will get +150% crystal drops and +100% core drops from killing enemies! Don't miss out on a good chance to gain more cores and crystals!

Offline Event:
Are you still admiring those VIP players for their special privileges? Want to know what it feels like to be a Very Important Player in game? Guess what! Now you have the chance! During the event time, all non-VIP players will get a free trial of ZO's VIP services (level 1)! And if you become a VIP during the event time, you will win a lottery chance and other amazing rewards!

Are you the ultimate fan of Zero Online? Do you love the Space Wars? Well have we got something for you! We are excited to announce the "Record of the Space War" video event!

Duration: June 21st to July 20th

Event rules:

1.The video you make should use the theme of the new Space War! During the event, you can record your video or make a slideshow of screenshots that you took during the Space War. You�ll upload it to the ZO YouTube Group, and then post the video link on the event page. If you submit it successfully, we will review the videos and show them on our page within 24 hours. What�s more, the best video will be displayed on the homepage of the official website!

2. Players can promote your video to your friends and different groups, and then submit your links on the event page. We will check if the link is valid or not, and valid links will be displayed on a specific rank for the promotion links. You can get 10 ZPs (bound) if you can provide a valid thread link!

In order to celebrate the international Children's Day, we have prepared lots of fun online events and 10 new Cosmos Apocalypse, as well as new functions for our loyal players! Now, let's take a look at what we can expect for Zero this month.

Online Events:

Children�s Day Online Events � Quizzing/Piglet Patrol (June 1st � 7th)
Are you tired of all the war and PKing? Well, the Earth Alliance has prepared 2 hot events for all their soldiers. So put down the weapons and gives your body a rest, and come on down to the Amusement Park and get back the old feeling of being a kid, again! You can find and catch the Raccoon Examiner and answer his questions. If the answers are correct, you will be rewarded with Carnival Points. During these 7 days, the TQ Piglet will hang around the park, handing out special gifts for all the guests. Have fun!

New Warship - X Fighter (June 11th)
The new warship, codenamed �X Fighter�, is a single-seat, small fighter craft with brilliant space mobility. Though lightly armed, it carries two X-type space warp cores to enhance its light speed thrusters, and has a Hypersonic Disturbance Emitter, which can temporarily disable an enemy craft�s Space Leap Engine and drastically reduce its chances of escape. Remember to come and test it out!

Cosmos Apocalypse 71�80 (June 11th)

This new A-grade mercenary has "ALL" stats better than Pirate, Spartan and Druid (Druid has 10 more vit but Odysseus easily makes up for that because he can use a shield)

Spring has sprung, so let�s have some fun, like they do in the land of the rising sun! The Sakura Matsuri, or Cherry Blossom Festival, is a highly anticipated time in Japan to get together and view the beautiful scenery of the Cherry Blossom Trees. If you can�t make it to Japan, don�t fret! The Cherry Blossom Trees have returned to be viewed in Atlantica!

From April 27 to May 25, town owners will have the opportunity to build a Cherry Tree. Visitors of towns that have a Cherry Tree will enjoy some very pleasant scenery along with the chance to grab a [Cherry Tree Fruit] once a day at the cost of 100% will and 200,000 gold (half the gold will go directly to the guild fund). Eating the [Cherry Tree Fruit] will grant the player an additional 10% increase of experience for two hours. The Cherry Tree can only be guild-crafted and requires building craft to be at level 5 or higher.

Some new items that are required to build the Cherry Tree, such as the [Cherry Tree Leaf], [Cherry Tree Stem] and [Cherry Tree Root] can be purchased on the market. All new items relating to the Cherry Blossom Festival event will be removed after the event is over.

The New Expansion - Galactic Armada will be launched into the far-reaching ZO universe at the end of April! In order to celebrate this occasion, we have prepared a string of fun events, new updates and new functions for our loyal players! Now, let's take a look at what we can expect for Zero this month.

6. Fleet Building (April 28)
Each fleet has their respective fleet base, in which the fleet members can build structures with different functions that are useful in the brand new Fleet War. The higher level your fleet base is, the more warships you can build! The Maximum level of a fleet base is 10, and you can upgrade the fleet base once a day after the server maintenance.

7. Warship Building (April 28)
Warships are an essential weapon for handling war in space, and you should know that only the fleet with warships can enter the Space War. Warships fall into 2 types, personal warships and fleet warships. You can build a warship in the Warship Dockyard in your fleet base. The higher level your fleet base is, the more docks you will have, and the more warships you can build! The fleet members who meet the requirements are able to build 8 kinds of Warships.

8. Warship Purchase (April 28)
Fleet members can purchase a warship for their fleet, but you can only purchase a fully finished warship. You need to pay some money for the warship you purchased, and better warships costs more.

9. 5 Fleet Missions � Reconnaissance/Warfare/Supply Collection/Item Collection/Enemy Head (April 28)
The battle against the Othello has taken a turn for the worse. Brolin needs more battle information to turn the situation to our favor. He has 5 Fleet Missions for you. Try your best to accomplish these missions, and then you will be rewarded with lots of EXP. Let us unite together and expel the Othellos from our space!

10. Space War (April 28)
A large scale space war is about to occur! It will be held from 7:50 to 8:50 each Saturday. 7:50pm � 8:20pm is the boarding time. 8:20pm � 8:50pm is the space war time. Between 8:20pm � 8:35pm, warships which are ready for them battle can still enter the space war. Crews can gain exploits by attacking enemy warships, side guns and fighters. The exploit amount depends on the damage the crew member inflicts on the enemy targets. After the Space War, ZPs will be awarded to the crews according to their exploits.

Well those days are over now... Included in the new patch is a pop-up that you leveled-up and what new quests/ things you can do now at your level. A pretty nifty feature and one of the best ones I think ^^

I was thinking of an event to propose to Ndoors, maybe Lawlipops will listen to this because this is not really much of work since they do release several decorations in-game. Please provide any criticisms to this before I whisper him via forums ^^.

At the start of every month� the guild that has the highest number of people in the top 100 FL rankings will get a special decoration to all the guild members free which will last for 1 month.
Stats will not be overpowered but in the likes of the following:
Attack power: 300-400
Vitality: +50
Defense: 250

It would just be a low-stat decoration but the design is a cape with the guild logo in it. For example, if your guild emblem is a red apple, then the cape will just have a red apple design. It�s more of a bragging right decoration instead of a powerful wing or bagged animal, showing to all the Atlantians in your server that you are part of the strongest guild in the server in terms of PvP.
This is just an idea, I was thinking of having a fastest time in some specific guild dungeon but this looks more original.

Please post any feedbacks. ^^

So I'm level 70 right now with a lack of experience in PvP and I'm beginning to regret not giving it much thought. Ever since my character was made, I've done mostly questing and random FL for some Stamina. I still want to have a PvE-focused formation, but it wouldn't hurt to defend my formation against what PvP-unique traits in FL.

I got a second Spearman early on since I heard that most people who use Spears on their main get another one to capitalize on their AP draining abilities. I later added a BT as a tank since as the frontline was then, I'd have to shuffle my front-line every once in a while.

With that being said, I'm not sure where I'm supposed to build off of. I think it's fine in PvE because I haven't encountered any major problems in the main quest-line (though it's PvE.) If I PvP, I generally target the monk and Viking first before moving on to the main. However, just having this in mind isn't efficient enough, and I tend to get owned a lot as a result.

So, yeah. I still want a PvE formation, but at the same time, I'd like to cover up some blind spots in PvP. Sorry for the scatter-brained typing. Any sort of input is appreciated. Though I can't say that I'll follow them down to the T, I'd at least like to know if I'm on the right track or not :v

New Sword Mercenary: Valkyrie Morrighan

This new melee mercenary is inspired the by the legendary Valkyries

Valkyries use to be represented as flying fighters, wearing a spear (or sometimes a sword) and a shield.
The Atlantica graphic designers drew her as a beautiful flying female warrior (even though technically, she isn't a "flying" mercenary like the witch), geared with a sword and a shield.
Players were expecting a new tank, a kind of improved Lady Knight.
The truth is subtly differing: her tanking ability are clearly present, but not "so" superior. However, her offensive power is much more higher, similar to the Pirate (a bit inferior).

Here a table comparing some melee stats (last upgrade):

� Best melee magic defense, even better than the exorcist (who is particular, as a "magic" melee) with a good shield.
� Best Action Power (average: 86), but just 1 more than the Pirate and the Lady Knight (average: 85)
� Her critical rate is among the bests too

Like the Empress Himiko who is the perfect/flawless archer, Valkyrie looks like the new perfect/flawless single-target melee, mixing tanking & offensive abilities.

Skills
After constantly checking the main forums on the best skill guide, most people goes with this conclusion. Silence is an effective skill especially since you can spike an opponent�s mercenary in the second row and able then silence the back row where the casters are. The silence skill should be maxed since it can easily miss at low levels. For the other skill allocation, it is your choice if you would go max Chaos wind for Max DoT in Free league or Arrow Cascade for instant Damage. So at level 120 it should be 60 Silence and 60 CW or AC depending on you. Deadly Strike is negligible since at higher levels, If you have good gears, you can inflict more damage with a normal attack, given that you combo high enough. For me I chose level 60 Silence and level 60 CW.

Mercs
Choosing a Mercenary depends on what strategy you plan to you use. Most bow mains go with a spike build. They make holes in the 2nd row to silence the back row. Complementary mercenaries are other bow types such as hwarang, prophet, and dark archers to help in focusing the damage to a single ranged mercans specially the hwarang�s aura which increases multiplier rate. Any other long range mercs from the gun and cannon also helps, since it still damages the targeted merc and helps maintain a stun pressure. Aside from the range classes, the Princess is the bow�s best friend or worst enemy. Since it has the Princess� order buff that increases defense and accuracy of an allied range merc but if the enemy has a princess. They also have a debuff which significantly reduces accuracy and damage.

Gear
Any high ups gear since the bow main is the most gear dependent main. Also add a good necklace to help increase the hit multiplier rate of your character.

Have you ever wished that you can see your own dream character become a part of a game? Ever wished that your creation was recognized by players across the globe? People usually had their own ideas of a character that they wanted to become real for a certain game, sometimes an original creation, or maybe based from another game. There are many reasons why people tend to creation custom characters on their liking; one reason is for bragging rights, they want to show that they are one of the best in their area, another is fan contribution, since they love the game so much they want to share some of their great ideas and the other one is they are just too creative, they are so creative that they realize it�s just a waste if they don�t use their masterpieces into something useful.

Atlantica Online just opened up a new event for the month of March, and it�s called the Mercenary Madness. The event will last from March 5 to March 22.

All the players have to do is to create their own mercenaries and submit them. The mercenary idea should have the following details:
� Type of Mercenary (the class should exist in the current Atlantica patch)
� Name of each Mercenary Upgrade (from level 1, 20, 50 and 80 upgrade and Hero name)
� Background of the Mercenary
� Description of the Mercenary�s appearance (also include sample images)
� Skill names and descriptions

Each participant can only submit up to three separate mercenary ideas and all of their entries can be submitted to event@ndoorsinc.com. Players can download the Mercenary Submission Template here: download

The winner of the contest will have their mercenary be implemented in the game and it will be revealed during the 2nd Anniversary Event. And aside from that, he/she will receive his/her mercenary in their formation, an Artwork of their mercenary, signed by the developers that were involved in bringing the mercenary into the game and finally, a year worth of Atlantica merchandise.

This time it�s not a wing, puppy bag or kitty bag but a Cross! Mephisto�s Cross is the first huge decoration ever made in atlantica the design goes well with Gothic costume. The cross was available in Faust�s Spirit Piece; you can also have a chance to obtain a �Druid item�.
Legend has it that Faust sold his soul to Mephisto for power. Mephisto bound his soul within a cross, imbuing it with dark power: a great artifact, until it was lost generations ago. Now in Atlantica, a Soul Shard has been found, and within it is sealed this powerful cross. Atlantians, it is time to take up this cross, and fight to free this soul from Mephisto's grasp.

ahhh the four-leaf clover, whoever possesses this will have enormous luck, europeans believe this myth. According to legend, each leaflet represents something: the first is for hope, the second is for faith, the third is for love, and the fourth is for luck. Somtimes the clover is commonly linked to the Leprechauns, a fairy that can lead you to where the pot of gold was hidden. And to celebrate a month of good luck, Atlantica Online was a lucky event awaiting for their gamers.

The Four-leaf Clover Event will start on March 9 up to March 23.

here is my dilemma with regards to the last spot...
Inventors + summon machine = efficient stun pressure but squishy as hell.

Cannoneers are tougher but may lack in stun pressure. Also cannot attack flying units in pve...

BTW this is for pvp but will also be used in pve.

Help.. I think I can make it to level 100 in a weeks time. ^^

This week�s AO mercenary history.

In Greek mythology, Cassandra, or Alexandra, was the most beautiful of the daughters of Hecuba and King Priam, the rulers of Troy during the Trojan War according to Homer's Iliad. Cassandra was a beautiful young woman, blessed with the gift of prophecy by Apollo, who was infatuated with her. In an alternative version, she spent a night at Apollo's temple, at which time the temple snakes licked her ears clean so that she was able to hear the future, though sometimes it brings an ability to understand the language of animals rather than an ability to know the future.

Unfortunately, she shunned Apollo at the last minute and he added a twist to her gift; Cassandra was doomed to tell the truth, but never to be believed. King Priam did not know what to do with her, so he tried to keep Cassandra locked up and out of the way of the warriors of Troy. When Troy finally fell to the Greek invaders, Cassandra was attacked and supposedly raped by the Greek warrior Ajax of Locris, but eventually avenged by Athena. When Cassandra accompanied the Greek hero Agamemnon as his mistress to his homeland, she tried to warn him of the danger which awaited him there; once again her prophecy was ignored, and both she and Agamemnon were murdered by Clytemnestra and Aegisthus.

Cassandra was a great, intelligent heroine who was cursed by the gods for not playing by their rules. Her name, Cassandra, has two distinct meanings. Robert Graves translates it from Greek to mean "she who entangles men", which is ironic since, although she was stunningly beautiful, her 'madness' repelled most men and her prophesies foretold their ignorant deaths. Managing a Guild Town Guide

Town Satisfaction
This is the indicator of the general population happiness and all that jazz, how well off your town is. What does it REALLY matter tho? The individual stats not that much at all. But they all add up to contribute to the Satisfaction rating, which is the only stat that DOES matter. The lower Satisfaction, the faster residents leave. Right now our Satisfaction is literally on the toilet floor so there's no real point to persuade residents until satisfaction can be raised. For every point of Satisfaction under 100, 1 resident will leave the town every in-game day. If your town Satisfaction was 90/100, then every in-game day, 10 residents will leave. The lowest number of town leavers caps at 10. At 100/100 Satisfaction, 10 residents will still leave every in-game day.

Town Satisfaction in general is the average of the 5 contributing factors (commerce, industry, culture, health, and security). The contributing factors are capped at 100. The contributing factors for satisfacton are calculated by (current point value)/(population/100)

For example: London has 209,135 population and 820/845 commerce = 820/(209135/100) = 0.392 or 39.2%

Building Craft
This raises the total CAP on the stats, it does not contribute to the existing stat itself. In order to max Satisfaction however, all stat caps must be raised to 3000. This is done by crafting the building in question (ie, build a Hospital to increase Health cap, Guard Post to increase Security, so on and so forth). Why do this? It's guild crafting = earns epic GP. Simple as that. We should begin levelling Building craft for the sake of GP, and increasing our stat caps.

Town Quests
The bread and butter. This is what raises the existing stats in general. This earns GP and increases a random stat of the town, therefore EVERYONE should be spamming these like no tomorrow. These require Managers Scrolls. These scrolls can be bought off the market, but are generally very overpriced. Here's where finally that little 'rumor notice' above the chatbox comes in handy. Whenever you see something like 'There is a rumor that a person in is selling Manager's Scroll [Adv]' or similar, go to that town and find the Merchant NPC. Buy the scrolls from him. They only cost 1000 gold from a Merchant, as opposed to hundreds of thousands on the Market. The downside is that you require 100% Will to purchase from the Merchant, to prevent spam.

At the end of the day, these are the 3 things that directly tie in to 'building up the town' and raising it's health, as well as what directly earns GP. Now you may ask ok, where does 'guild profitability' come into it? Read on;

Building Management and Taxes
Assigning a manager to key infrastructure such as the Bank, Market, Travel Agency lets that person control the set rates of the town, such as the Market tax and so forth. All tax earnt by transactions in the town goes directly into the BUILDING fund. Each individual building has a personal fund where money is collected from tax. At the end of every in-game month, the building manager then pays tax from the building, into the Town Hall where the money is collected. From there, the Guild Leader will withdraw it into the Guild Fund to pay for Guild Crafting costs to improve infrastructure in the town (Building craft or otherwise). Thus the money comes full cycle in this way.

That being said, it's important that all guild members use our town as much as possible. Most importantly is when selling high priced goods on the Market that attract a tax; DO IT FROM OUR TOWN! The reason for this is simple: If you do it in Rome or anywhere else, the tax goes into THAT town's coffers, not ours. If you do it in Rome, the money goes into total limbo and is removed from the game. Make sure you buy/sell goods from our town, and this will mean that your tax paid goes directly into the building fund, which then will eventually come full circle back into our Guild Fund to pay for our guild costs and crafting.

tl;dr version: ALL TAX PAID FROM OUR TOWN, ALL COMES BACK TO THE GUILD IN THE END.

This is one of the best parts of Town ownership is the fact that all the transparent money paid in everyday tax, comes back full circle to the Guild.

Additional points of note (thanks to Frosty)
- when you pay tax (take funds out from the building) 20% goes to the manager and 80% goes to town hall.
- when you transfer the town hall fund to guild 50% goes as tax and 50% goes in your guild fund so you basically get 50% of the town hall's funds.

Residents, Food & Transparent Income Tax
In addition to active taxes from players, transparent income is also generated from Residents. When you persuade a resident to come to your town, they will pay tax to live there naturally every month. Residents will not stay if the Town Satisfaction is low, and will leave the town at a rate of (100 - ) per in game day.

As previously mentioned, there is a hard cap on residents leaving; the lowest number is 10. At 100% Satisfaction, you will still get 10 residents jumping ship every day. When Town Satisfaction is over 85% however, residents will start automatically migrating to the town from other lower satisfaction towns. The number is NOT a hard number, and it is heavily dependant on the satisfaction rate of OTHER towns. If your town Satisfaction is higher than most, then residents are more likely to come to your town. At 100%, residents will come to your town more often.

This migration happens automatically without needing to Persuade residents. This migration also happens in waves, roughly every 48 minutes real time.

Food crop and storage is important to keeping residents paying taxes. The amount of Food generated by the town is dependant on the number of Farms you have in place. Food Storage is dependant on the number of Warehouses. The more residents you have, the more food must be generated. Food is harvested every half-year (6 days) in game and fills your Food Storage to the limit it can hold.

Every in game month, Food is removed (consumed) by residents at a rate of (population / 1000). If, at the start of an in-game month (a day Real Time), there is not enough food in the Storage, residents will refuse to pay taxes. Naturally the more residents migrating to the town, the more Farms and Warehouses must be built in order to accomodate for these new residents. (thanks to Tamiki for pointing this out.)

NOTE: If the Warehouse is dismantled, current existing Food is not destroyed, but no new Food gets added come harvest time.

I think this covers about everything in a simpler fashion for Town Operation. We're all new to this and still learning, but this pretty much sums up the basics.

tl;dr key points:

1) Spam town quests, do eet!
2) Do all Marketing from our town, Travel Agency from there as often as possible, etc.
3) Persuade residents whenever you see them walking by.
4) Building craft, we have to start it, ASAP, regardless of how many buildings we have. We still are not at the 3000 mark on some stats.

Archer types in any MMO are very versatile units. They have high damage output and can kill an enemy from a distance even before they come near. Masters in hand control and dexterity, they are able to launch arrows using bows with tremendous power and force, sometimes making even a single arrow to pass through to the next enemy at the back. Equipped with varied arrows which sometimes pose a weakness to the enemy monster they encounter. But that is an Archer in a normal hack and slash MMO. So what difference does the Atlantica Online archer have against other games?

The Bow main in Atlantica is considered to be one of the highest physical damage dealer to a single unit. Especially when attacking other long range units since range units does more damage to other ranged units. Archer Main and other Archer classes also have the ability to attack any enemy unit in the opponent�s formation regardless of the position. A bow main with good gears can reduce the range enemy�s health to � in just one turn making it a force to reckon with. Aside from attacking, they have the silence skill which can silence an entire row thus preventing them from casting any magical skill.

Usually when we hear about zombies, we usually think of those undead rotting beings that spread terror to people and we commonly see this on horror movies, movies about zombies wiping out and eating your brains. The zombie pop culture started way past before even television was born, in fact we can also see some references from classic literatures like the Arabian Nights and the Epic of Gilgamesh.
Now we also see zombies in video games, thanks to Resident Evil; a survival horror game from Capcom, and from that moment, zombies are now a mainstay in video games. With some new hits like Plants vs. Zombies and Left 4 Dead, but gamers from MMO world also want to take a taste of zombie mayhem, well good thing Atlantica Online from Ndoors games made some special surprise to the AO gamers.

Atlantica Online has been called out by many as a trend-setter in the MMO genre. It features top quality graphics that are aesthetically pleasing without resorting to bright, cartoonish colors. The developers have also incorporated a lot of social interaction features into the game which help enhance the gameplay.

One example is the mentor system which enables more experienced players to teach new players the basics of the game, show them tips and tricks and provide other useful information. The strategic tactics required in combat also set Atlantica apart from its competitors. Players can control a vast number of units which can be deployed after careful planning.

Atlantica is not without its problems. As with other MMOs, gold farming is a major hindrance for regular players. Users also point out that while combat itself is excellent, the game has a rather shallow storyline. In addition to this, the content of the quests themselves are not particularly innovative and thus, could easily bore higher level players. Another major flaw of the game is its high system requirements which effectively reduce Atlantica�s audience to people with high-end PCs.

PVP Basic

PVP is one of the best feature of Atlantica Online that we enjoyed most.

Basics

Stats & Equips

- Stats for your mercs and main are adjusted mainly up in PvP to create some balance.
- Stats gained from the enchantment of equipments are divided by about 1/4. So the lvl of the equip matters more than the + of it.
- Stats from mounts/wings/decorations/etc. are added but it makes a little difference because of the adjustment in stats for PvP.

Move

- Moving is useful to prevent creating a hole in the mid line and keeping your front line up. A hole in the middle or break in the front line would allow an Archers silence to reach the back row. A break in the front line would also allow a Viking to freeze the mid row.
- Moving uses up 50 AP so use it wisely.
- Click on the character's feet to move to that spot. The formation is divided into a grid and you have to click on the box under the character, not the character, to move to the spot.
- The grid can be seen in PvE but not PvP.
- You can't move onto a spot with a dead character.

Guarding

- Guarding reduces damage by a small amount and uses up 50 AP.
- You have 5 moves each turn after the initial turns. Guarding transfers that activation to another character so you can choose who you want to attack with.
- The activation will get transfered to the character with the next highest AP. A character must have at least 100 AP to receive the activation.
- A guarded character cannot receive the activation.

Skill Cooldown

- The skill cool down doesn't work like a cool down.
- Each character gains 1 skill point each turn except for the first persons turn.
- The cool down for each skill is how much of these points it uses up.
- There is a max of 4 skill points a character can have.
- For example: You have 4 skill points. You can use Scud which uses 3 skill points. You are left with 1 and gain another 1 next turn. Now you can use blessing of life since you have 2.

Random Scrolls

- When you see a scroll with a letter on it over your opponents head, it will make the merc that hit it use a random scroll. It can be hit with any type of attack to activate.
- A blue icon next to the scroll when someone uses one is how long until it is activated. Random scrolls with either start broken with pieces missing, just broken, or unbroken. It will fill up a little every turn until it is unbroken. After that it will be activated on the next turn.
- You can't cancel your own scroll.
- To cancel your opponents scroll, just attack 3 times with normal attack.
- Having ranged mercs will help with the scroll canceling which can be vital at times.

Anne Bonny (March 8, 1702 � possibly April 25, 1782)

Bonny was a red-haired beauty and considered a very good catch. She married a poor sailor and small-time pirate named James Bonny.

It is known that sometime between 1714 and 1718 she and James Bonny moved to Nassau, on New Providence Island in the Bahamas, which was then a pirate hub and base for many pirate operations.

While in the Bahamas, Anne Bonny began mingling with pirates at the local drinking establishments, and met the pirate John "Calico Jack" Rackham, with whom she had an affair. While Rackham and many other pirates were enjoying the King's pardon in the New Providence, James dragged Anne before Gov. Rogers to demand she be flogged for adultery and returned to him. There was even an offer for Rackham to buy her in a divorce-by-purchase, but Anne refused to be "bought and sold like cattle." She was sentenced to the flogging, but later Anne and Rackham escaped to live together as pirates.

Bonny did not disguise herself as a man in order to join Rackham's crew aboard the Revenge as is often claimed. In fact, she and Mary Read helped Rackham steal the sloop at anchor in Nassau harbour and set off to sea, putting together a crew and taking several prizes. She took part in combat alongside the men, and the accounts describing her exploits present her as competent, effective in combat, and someone who gained the respect of her fellow pirates. She and Mary Read's name and gender were, however, known to all from the start, including Gov. Rogers, who named them in a "pirates wanted" circular published in the continent's only newspaper, the Boston News-Letter.

In October 1720, Rackham and his crew were attacked by a sloop captained by Jonathan Barnet, who was working for the governor of Jamaica. Most of Rackham's pirates did not put up much resistance as many of them were too drunk to fight, other sources indicate it was at night and most of them were asleep. However, Read, Bonny, and an unknown man fought fiercely and managed to hold off Barnet's troops for a short time. After their capture, Rackham and his crew were sentenced by the Governor of Jamaica to be hanged. According to Johnson, Bonny's last words to the imprisoned Rackham were that she was "sorry to see him there, but if he had fought like a Man, he need not have been hang'd like a Dog."

After their arrest and trial, Read and Bonny both pleaded their bellies, announcing during the sentencing phase that they were both pregnant. In accordance with English common law, both women received a temporary stay of execution until they gave birth. Read died in prison, most likely from a fever, though it has been alleged that she died during childbirth.

There is no historical record of Bonny's release or of her execution. This has fed speculation that her father ransomed her; that she might have returned to her husband, or even that she resumed a life of piracy under a new identity. However, the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography states that "Evidence provided by the descendants of Anne Bonny suggests that her father managed to secure her release from jail and bring her back to Charles Town, South Carolina, where she gave birth to Rackham's second child. On December 21, 1721 she married a local man, Joseph Burleigh, and they had eight children. She died in South Carolina, a respectable woman, at the age of eighty and was buried on April 25, 1782."

TBS or tactical Battle System

Tactical battle system can be on PVE and PVP. The game is classically turn-based in that only one side can take action at a time and those actions take immediate effect. However, each character also has a certain speed represented by action points; that means that slower characters may have to skip some turns to reach a threshold value of action points while fast-moving characters have to skip less turns or none at all. Additionally, magic effects can also modify the amount of action points a character has to allow fine-grained control of speed effects. Each party can never have more than 5 characters act during a turn, even if more than 5 characters have sufficient action points.
The characters of each party are positioned on a 3x3 grid. Positioning the characters is an important decision, because different weapons and skills have different attack patterns. The player can change the position of his/her characters during a battle if desired.

During a character's turn, one of the following actions can be performed:

Basic Attack: Perform a standard attack.

Magic: Use one the character's available magic skills.

Item: Use an item that is assigned to one of the character's available Quick Slots, such as a healing potion or a magic scroll.

Move: Move the character to any position on the grid that is not occupied by a dead character. If the target destination is occupied by a living character, the characters will switch positions.

Wait: Forfeits the character's turn, keeping all action points.

Guard: Assume a stance that reduces damage dealt to that character during the enemies' next turn, while passing on the character's turn to the next character that has sufficient action points to act (if any).

Search: Search the body of a fallen enemy for loot. This also removes the body from the field, preventing resurrection.

Switch mercenary: Switch the mercenary out for one that is not currently fielded. You can only do this a limited amount of times during a battle.

All of these actions, except for Wait, consume a certain amount of action points.

Part 2

1.For those looking for any NPC like Goncourt. NPC Livingstone near Bhucarest will give you the location of any NPC in game for 1k gold.

2. If you want to gain more exp especially for your mercenaries, one of the easiest way would be Giving gifts to beginners gives exp to all your mercs. But it requires you a 100% Will for every gift.

3.Always Party = More exp. and crafting books, stamina refund every 2 or 3 battles based on party size.

4.One of the best features of the game is the Free League that was available at level 20. You can start your climb up the PVP rankings at any time. If you don't mind losing a lot and to higher levels with more mercenaries than you, then FL is a great way to have some fun and earn gold at the same time. The coins you receive from winning and losing can be cashed in right away or held for a rainy day as their value appreciates over time.
You can exchange your coins to Yim Sang Ok that you can see outside Hanyang located in Northeast Asia.

5.By clicking the Arrange Inventory on your Inventory window, then it will stack up all the same items together. This was available if you are using the extra inventory license.

6. If you get a Selection Box that you can obtain in the special boxes (secret vial of Amnesia, Scroll of Life’s Blessing, Secret Vial of Potential, Scroll of resurrection, Ancient Skill book for merc, this are some of the box where in you got to choose what to get. If ever you accidentally open the box that has the option to choose the item or if you still can't decide what to get, then just move the box from a different slot then choose anything from the choices then no items will be obtain and no box is consumed.

7. For the items you must sell it in any city with a tax rate of 1% only. Same also if you want to withdraw and deposit an Atlantica gold, again Rome is the best city with only 1%.

8. If it happens that you don’t want to have a mentor and you want to know something, use the Chat box, there’s a chat for the Location, Nation, Guild and Peers. Once you click any of the buttons you can say whatever you want in the chat and other players on the particular categories can read your message. If you want to ask some information about the game other players can help you.

9. Don’t leave you character in the center of the town where the monsters are being spawned during the Monster invasion event. Every month there’s an event for Atlantians, and the usual event would be the monster invasion, if you want to leave your character AFK don’t leave it to the town during weekends because it may die during the monster invasion. You might lose gold from dying.

10. Always keep you gold in the bank. With regards to losing gold, don’t let your character with much gold when you are doing quest or just grinding. When you die 10% of your gold will be lost.

Ninja Star

This so called Ninja Star mount is like the Unicorn hovering in the mid air, this looks good. Well, I just noticed that Ndoors are making clothes, decor, mounts that matches 1 single theme. This attracts more players because some really looking for the best match for their costume, d�cor or mount.

Stats:

Attack Power: 370- 470
Defense: 5100
Strength: +170
Dexterity: +170
Vitality: +230
Movement speed: +20%
Crit : +10

Compare to the stats of Sabertooth the additional of 10 on AP, for defense additional of 300. The mount gives additional Strength, Dexterity and Vitality by 10. But the highlight is the additional in the stats is it has a +10 crit that differs from the other mounts.

This new mount can be best for the range type isn�t it?

1.As for the beginners most of the time you received gifts that will pop up on your screen coming from other players. Well this is actually a part of the quest that they need to give gifts to the beginners but there are instances that some received huge amount of gold from the mailbox. No one knows that this might came from a gold seller, unless you received the gold and on the next day you can�t access your account because the GM blocked it. This was the same thing that my friend encounter and since his innocent and return the gold to the GM. His account lifted from the suspension. So receiving a huge amount of gold is a �NO� specially from the mailbox, better to report it immediately to the GM�s to investigate the user that give you a gold.

2.Read your notes. If you see that your note icon is flashing of course you will be curious what it has to say, it might be a A. Notification that the items that you sell in the market was sold,
B. you might have incoming mails 3.If you joined a guild it will also appear on the notes, 4.and even other details regarding the guild like changing the position of the guild officer. These are some notes that you can received.

3.Let your mentor act on his/her work. In atlantica you can be a mentor or can accept the offer of the user who wants to be your mentor. Once you accept it make him work, because Mentors received 200,000 when you reach level 30. The good thing is, the nice one will give you tips and knowledge on other system of the game, and also on your journey to Atlantis like Monster info, craft info, battle strategies and even event gifts.

4.Maximize the use of the Commodity box. This gives you a random Skill Books for your mercenaries and Growth vial. As for the beginners this is one way to earn gold in atlantica.
Especially when you get a growth vial (I) and other skill books that you don�t need any more you can sell it to the market or:

5.Find Goncourt to exchange the excess Skill Books that you don�t need any more. Goncourt is a moving NPC traveling around Atlantica.
Goncourt can exchange your Skill books either:
Modern book Box - This includes the all the skill books (I)
Medieval book box � This includes the all the skill book (II)
Ancient book box - This includes the all the skill books (III)

Skill books: Flame Sword, Freezing Axe, Lightning spear, Healing and all the skill books.

From these books you can obtain skill books that are necessary for your mercenaries, most of the time we keep the skill book (III) this is for the high level merc that is much expensive you can sell this or keep it.

Newbie Guide: Viking Strike

A Viking Guide:

For a class D merc Viking is one of the indispensible melee type in the early and mid level. This merc is not as tough as a swordsman but they are a decent tank and have the ability to splash damage with their normal attacks. However, one of the keystone ability is the magical attack of Freezing Axe, Which disabled 3 mercenaries in a row of your opponent. This makes the Viking a very good choice for the party in early games. On the other hand, his magic defense is very low caused him to be an outclassed compare to other mercenaries. In early game, Viking is one of the merc that can be killed fast using magic skills. But in the early-to-mid game is good to most any build.

Base stats:

Strength-330
Dexterity- 110
Defense- 280
Intelligence- 140
Vitality- 310
Magic Defense- -50

Skills:

Basic Attack: Strike 3 enemies in the same row on the front.
Freezing axe: Freeze the enemy for some time with the blast of ice coming from the axe. Freezing axe effect also amplifies the skill damage for it gives –mdef to the mercenaries that was casted with this skill. So it’s the best thing to cast freezing axe on the row before you make a normal attack.
Deadly Strike: This skill can describe as the desperation strike while on the verge of death. The attack puts a strain on your action power and delaying your next turn. Usually this skill used on the late game, giving much higher damage than the normal attack.

When your Viking reaches level 100 there’s another upgrade to make the Viking to Northern Viking to make it a Class C merc. You can’t have this if you don’t have a level 100 viking. To change your viking class into N.V. You will need a Viking Spirit Stone that you can get the quest from Freydis, a female Viking who once worked to with Erik and Leif. She was located near the Frozen of Adlivun.

I just want to get your opinion on this. I often go to Coliseum League but I also lose often. I think that in Coliseum League AOE skills are the best and snipe build is second. Most of the time I lose to staff mains with witch in their formation. What they do is they pop-up a scroll of mana piercing and next turn they give it their all (flame blow, meteor, beast summon and powersaw raid).

Do you know any effective counters against this formation in Coliseum League?

Atlantica-db she will pretty much have the best stats of any bow merc. And it seems that her skills will be slightly improved versions of holy guard and silence.

The storyline then makes the game more interesting by providing a link between the places making one complete quests and level-up as one explores. The fact that the game also has a storyline makes the player desire for more playing time to complete the quests and finally know if the city of Atlantis is saved. The storyline also makes the player feel as if he is part of the story. This feature also sets Atlantica Online apart from other MMORPGs by giving a purpose to a mission since other MMORPGs only commands one to bring things without one's knowledge as to why it has to be done.

One of the most important aspects of an online game is being beginner-friendly and this is actually present in Atlantica Online. The game does not start at once, rather it begins with a tutorial and to help with exploring, there is the auto-move feature which brings the player automatically to the character with quest information. The interface also features vital shortcuts such those to community and the guilds.

There is room for improvement on other aspects though. One such aspect is the odd camera movement as if the camera twitches for a while before the character resumes moving. Another is character creation - the game does not offer that much options to customize one's character. The stamina system may also be of disadvantage to other players who would want to play all day. Lastly, though the graphics are good, it is not exceptional which may be disappointing for players who yearn for graphics which are very much like 3D.

This job is quite a trend right now.. so I'll just give you some guide that I've search.

A Staff Main is a Multi-purpose Main that excels at mass-damage abilities and healing. In PVP, she is unrivaled in AOE (Area of Effect or Mass Assault) damage. In PVE, she is one of the fastest leveling mains in the game, only out-matched by the Chainsaw and Musician Mains. A Staff Main has eight different skills at her disposal, with one of them unlocked after the lvl 100 upgrade. Her skills give her a wide range of abilities to either help her team or hurt her foes.

Atlantica Staff Main Base Stats:

Brief Description:

�Your foes may scoff at your low vitality and defensive level, but as a mage you have the ability to master a wide variety of spells. You can also equip an [Orb], which increases your Attack Power and Intelligence. In your later levels, you truly become a force to be reckoned with. You replenish your allies� vitality with [Blessing of Life] magic, and can learn the powerfull [Brutal Will] spell to increase your mercenaries� attack power.�

Skills:

The Staff Main shares skills with her Shaman counterpart, but she has several unique abilities that only she manifests. First, we will cover her and the shaman�s shared abilities.

Brutal Will
*A skill that makes a row go berserk. Mercs affected by it gain an attack power, multi-hit rate, and action power regen buff. However, you also lose control of mercs affected by this skill and the affected mercs take damage every turn. Brutal Will is generally not raised because there are more useful skills that the Main can learn.*

Hex of Darkness
*Causes a DOT(Damage over Time) and debuff on the enemy. The debuff decreases maximum HP for the duration of the DOT. If this skill is cast on a target affected by the Swordsman�s Dark Seed, then the Hell Flame combo will trigger, which is like a super Hex of Darkness. This skill usually isn�t leveled because it is only really useful when a Swordsman will be kept for you entire Atlantica career*. Even then, there are better skills to have.

Noble Sacrifice
*Sacrifice skill that heals your team. Needs the caster to be at 30% health to work. Worthless on a Main because, if the main dies, then you lose. Never level this skill on your aStaff Main.*

Blessing of Life
*Very good skill. The first healing ability you�ll ever have. Starts off targeting only one merc, but becomes a row target at lvl 20. The only time you�ll ever find a better heal is at lvl 76, when you recruit an Oracle. Level this skill if you don�t plan to have a Shaman. Even if you do have a shaman, it�s good to put 1 point here as a precaution for emergencies.*

That�s all of the shared skills. Next are the Main-Characters-Only skills.

Guard Dispel
*A decent skill for PVP. It destroys the Holy Guard status on the front-most row. Situational use only because it does no damage at all and has no other effects. Only 1 point is needed, because charms will give this skill 100% accuracy.*

Mana Shield
*Good, old Mana Shield. It has saved many a Staff Mains� butt in combat. Whenever a physical attack hits the Staff Main, she�ll automatically recover HP at the cost of her Mana. It only heals the first hit, not the combo hits. In PVE, this is always active unless disabled in the skill window. In PVP, the Shield will only trigger at a set percentage rate. Higher skill lvls means a high rate of activation in PVP, bigger heals in both PVE and PVP, and larger Mana useage. However, be careful with this skill in PVE. It�ll quickly deplete your Mana stores and leave you drained.*

Evanescent Scud
*Your first and only AOE skill for the first 100 lvls as a Staff. This skill does a great deal of damage, killing or severely weakening mobs in PVE until lvl 95~. It casts quickly, so it is the primary PVE AOE skill of choice. Pretty much ALLStaff mains max this because it is their primary lvling and attack skill for the first 100 lvls. It is also teh primary reason to be a Staff main in the first place.*

Flame Blow
*Your lvl 100 skill. It is an even stronger AOE than Scud, but it takes longer to cast. It also carries a Fire element tag, so Fire resistant monsters and Shield+Sword mercs take reduceddamage. While the listed damage is low, it does 2 quick successive hits of that low damage. That means, the listed damage of 1.6k is really 3.2k total damage . The second hit happens immediately on the next enemy turn. While Scud is better for quick PVE fights, Flame Blow is better in 2v1 situations.*

Commonly suggested skill build for lvl 120 or lower:

I�ve only just seen both of these features on atlantica online. What�s better is that a lot of strategy is involved in both instances. The strategy you use for pve may not go for pvp and that is almost always the case especially during free leagues.

Everyone knows the old fable: A hare and a tortoise have a race. The tortoise wins because of his persistence, and the hare loses because he underestimates the tortoise. Well now, you are given the chance to change history! Both the tortoise and the hare need your help to reach the finish line!

Before you start the game, there will be 2 options for you to choose: help the Hare or help the Tortoise.

If you choose to help the Hare, you need to help him to clean up the enemies on the track.

If you decide to give a hand to the Tortoise, you have to find the Tortoise Fuel during the race, or this slowpoke will stay where he is for the rest of his life! Of course, it won't be easy for you to get to the Fuel Depot. The many enemies on the track will be the first thing you need to take care of!

Finally some of those bugs from last tuesday's patch has been fixed, bout time if ya ask me

okay here are the bugs that were fixed:

* Fishing with Silver Bait will now give the chance to obtain Coupons.
* Free League and Colosseum League times have been fixed. (The times shown in the in-game Help file are now accurate).
* The Auto-Battle option will now be available for all Free Leagues.
* The Auto-Battle option will no longer be available for Colosseum Leagues.
* Items will no longer disappear from the Jackpot Item Acquisition Window when logging out or transferring to Titan server.

and some compensation to the players who experienced the bugs
* All players who used Silver Bait during the time period which it was not functioning properly will be reimbursed the used Silver Bait(s). The Silver Bait will be sent to effected users' mailboxes within 24 hours.
* All players who lost items due to the Jackpot issue will be compensated with 10 Atlas Ore. The Atlas Ore will be sent to effected users' mailboxes within 24 hours.

* Some Division level limitations have been modified:
o Lv. 101 - Lv. 109 can advance up to Div. 4.
o Lv. 95 - Lv. 100 can advance up to Div. 6.
o All Division level limit changes can be viewed in the in-game Help.
* Competition Rankings have been changed in the following ways:
o Free League Records and Rankings will be changed into League Records and Rankings.
o League Ranking will be a combination of both Free League and Colosseum League rankings.
o Division will now be set based on your win/loss streak in both Free League and Colosseum League.

# Colosseum League

* Colosseum League information has been added to the in-game Help under the Leagues section.
* Atlantis Coin Rewards have been added.

o Monsters will no longer join in battle in these areas.
o Monsters will no longer initiate battles with players who are Auto-Moving through these areas.

o Ants in Nest of Insects are no longer immune to Cannons.
* A monster group made up of Crab Warriors has been added to the Sea Palace.

o If the quest is not completed, the main character will not be able to level up to 80 and their mercenaries will not be able to level up to 85.
* Chef Al�s Request quest has been added to the Festival Region in Southern Europe, north of Madrid.
o You must help him cook great food for the festival.
o You must be level 95 or above to begin the quest.
* NPC Edeline Teach and her colleague, Navigator Henry, have been added along with Bahamas Pirate Village. They need your help finding the treasure hidden in Bahamas Private Village.
o Edeline Teach�s quests are reset daily only if all of her quests have been completed.
o Navigator Henry�s Completed quests are reset daily.
o You must be level 102 or above to begin the quest.
* VIP Title Quest has been added.
o You can receive the quest from NPC Thalia.
* 3 Secret Vials of Stability are now given a reward for Ming-Jing�s [Secrets of Women] quest.
* Auto-Move locations of Heiying�s quests in Jiuzhaigou Ghost Town have been fixed.
* New quest has been inserted into Boorchu�s quest line, requiring you to use Medici�s Platinum Box.

# Unification of Mana Stones (Repair, Enchant, Enhance)

* [Weapon Repair Stones], [Armor Repair Stones], and [Accessory Repair Stones] have been unified into [Repair Stones].
* [Weapon Enchant Stones], [Armor Enchant Stones], and [Accessory Enchant Stones] have been unified into [Enchant Stones].
* [Weapon Enhance Stones], [Armor Enhance Stones], and [Accessory Enhance Stones] have been unified into [Enhance Stones].
* Weapon, Armor, and Accessory Enchant and Enhance Stones and Boxes will be converted into the new appropriate unified stone of the same level at a 1:1 with the exception of the conversions listed below.
o 1 Accessory Enchance Stone [IV] will be converted into 20 Enchance Stone [IV].
o 1 Accessory Enchant Stone [I] will be converted into 50 Enchant Stone [I].
o 1 Accessory Enchant Stone [IV] will be converted into 50 Enchant Stone [IV].

* All stones in the inventory, extra inventory, Merc. Room mercenary�s inventory, Mail, Market, Warehouse, and Jackpot Acquisition window will be converted.
* Any stones which are currently be crafted will be converted to the suitable unified mana stone of the appropriate level.
* Monsters will now drop the new stones.
o The drop rate which the stones are dropped has been modified from the original stones to take into account the combination of the 3 previous into 1 new one.
* Quests which rewarded the old stones have been updated with new rewards.
* The old mana stones that could be looted from fallen enemies during competitions have been updated.
* The drops of mana stones level [IV] and above have been changed to Vulcan�s Hammers.

# Fishing

* Shining Bait can now be crafted with Atlas Ore.
o 1 x Atlas Ore crafts 3 Shining Bait.
o Shining Bait requires Fishing Crafting skill level 1 or above to craft.
o Shining Bait requires Fishing Action level of 80 or above to use.
o Shining Bait gives a chance to catch [Sunken Treasure].
+ Various scrolls, level [V] mana stones, experience books, and Books of Mastery can be acquired from [Sunken Treasure].
o There is a chance to fail at catching something when using Shining Bait, depending on the Fishing Rod used.
* A fishing cast timer has been added to the top of the screen while fishing.
* Fishing can now be started by right-clicking on a fishing pole.
* A �Stop Fishing� button will now appear when fishing to easily stop fishing.

# Items

* Repair NPC [Reginn] has been added to the Bazaar in Rome.
o You can have your equipment repaired by paying a fee of Atlas Ore to Reginn.
o You can repair one item at a time or many items at once.
* Coin Exchange NPC [Nikola] has been added to the Bazaar in Rome.
o Nikola will provide more valuable Atlantis Coins in exchange for less valuable ones.

I was really really disappointed when I saw the Announcement today, This season we, as players will have a chance to help a charity but we can't do it now because other players sent a QQ to Child's play that's why they decided to withdraw in the event. I was really sad we can't help the children this Chistmas, Even though Ndoors said that their gonna look for a new Charity to give the donations, hope those players have their conscience.

Just a few weeks since Ndoors released their new costume "Native American Costume" and the new mount "APU". And now they are going to give us an insight on the new "Shogun Costume" a japanese samurai costume, that you can obtain in the Masamune's Case.

Why in Masamune's Case?

According to the story in the site:

COYOTE�S VALLEY (Druid Recruitment)

Coyote�s Valley is located in North America near Vancouver. The level required to enter the dungeon is 100.

First of all, before you can enter the Squad Dungeon you must form a squad of 9 players. Then the commander of the squad has to use the Chief's Ivory Horn key to open access to the squad. The key can be acquired from Merchant Mercurius for 9 guild operation textbooks.

Only a maximum of 9 players are allowed inside. It is a 6-man party (just like in Individual Dungeons) main included. The dungeon time limit is 60 minutes and has a cooldown time of 40 hours.

Note: Form your parties before entering the dungeon, you can't reform once inside.

1. There is a "cookie" or "friendly gate" called Roaring Thunder (he must not die otherwise the dungeon will fail). If you don't defend the "friendly gate" he lasts around 6 minutes before he dies. You will have enough time to reach and defend/assist him if you move on the edge of the road avoiding fights, at least the party that takes the defense part role. It is recommended that the defenders are solo.

2. Enemy gates spawn mobs continuously. The mobs can join in battle quite easily if they are close to each other. You can also encounter big trains of mobs. It is best to duo, or trio if the players are not strong enough.

3. The enemy gates have high defense, and are level 130. There are no towers linked to them. Attacks are as strong as Babel's Gate with the towers down. Anyway, it is not needed to kill the gates, but they do drop heavenly crystals.

4. Mobs are level 120+ (melee), easy to kill and hurt a little bit but not enough to take out your front line quickly. Elementalists will prove helpful.

5. The NPC's:
Raging Wind (Druid Recruitment) is on the east path.
His quests are:
1) 100 heavenly crystals
2) Bull horn
3) Sickle

Earth Listener is in the west dead end. He gives a few quests that rewards you with 3 heavenly crystals. His quests will reset every 40 hoursl.
The quests are:
1) 10 wolves
2) 30 mecha spiders
3) the miniboss Mad Scientist Austin

-There were only 2 mini bosses in the dungeon, so only 2 teams can finish the Earth Listener's quest. Rumor has it that they may spawn from the enemy gates but is yet to be confirmed.

6. Killing 1000 mobs rewards the squad 9 boxes. So it is 1 box per person. Killing additional mobs will increase the reward boxes as follows:
1000 monster kills = 9 reward boxes
1400 monster kills = 12 reward boxes
1700 monster kills = 18 reward boxes
2000 monster kills = 27 reward boxes

Boxes are sent to the squad commander. Be sure it is someone you can trust.

The boxes will give:
- Druid skill books I and II
- Multi-hued crystals and jewels
- Vials of valor/wisdom/death
- Experience books
- The bull horn(quest item)
- The sickle(quest item)
- Heavenly Crystals (5) (quest item)
- Alchemist stones
- Large diamonds
- Plus 1 or 2 other things
All items are tradable.

Santa villa is back! Let�s start the season with the jolliest event ever! Players, get ready to face the menacing Christmas monsters! You must be ready to challenge Angry Rudolf, Angry Acong, Provoked Soldier, Drunken Urus, Evil Oak Tree and more! Adorable? You can say that again!

The mechanics are pretty simple. Players level 20 and above who log on to the game for a minimum of one hour get a mistletoe in their mailbox. Only one mistletoe can be received everyday but if you want to extend your visit, you can exchange three atlas ores for an extra hour! But wait! There�s more!

Now let's make this more exciting. Every required amount of loot you get has corresponding awards. By collecting Christmas tree parts, completing the words ATLANTICA or even just Christmas boxes, you can get a variety of items from stones to costumes and even books! Now the Christmas tree and the letters to form the word must be crafted. You can craft these items in the Quest item craft.

As the new patch arrived today, what can you say about it? Have you tried Coyote�s Valley? Have you tried Santa Villa and earn some points to exchange it for some goodies? Have you tried exchanging your +10 Phoenix gear to Dragon God gear to NPC Wild Cat?

Well this event already occur last year according to other players, I'm not into AO that time that's

Anyway, everyone can do the Santa Villa quest... just like other event, players log in for 1 hour will get the [Mistletoe] that you will get one per day. There's an option to get a Santa Villa Ticket,just bring it to Guide Acong and exchange it to a Santa Villa ticket or Exchange a 3x Atlas Ore. You can enter the Santa Villa in a limited time of 1 hour... there are event items drop in the monsters that you will be needing to Craft , you can either craft a [Christmas Tree] and the [Completed Letter [Atlantica. Then bring this again to Guide acong for you to obtain any of the items like Santa Hat, Rudolf Hair accessory etch..

OMG! Ndoors already released their Patch notes for December 9th, 2009 at 5:30pm PST.

We already have an insight on this anticipated updates this month of december. All are waiting for the new mercenary to come and this is it! "THE CALL OF THE WILD"

*Aside from the new mercenary, New Dungeon such as Grand canyon has been added to north america and the minimum level required to enter the dungeon is 121.New quest added in the grand canyon, that you can begin by speaking with NPC sitting bull. And players must be level 128 above to begin this.

� New System: Squads
o The Squad system has been added.
o A squad is an alliance of parties that can include up to 30 players.
o Squads will be able to use Squad dungeons together.
o There are 3 ranks within a squad: Commander, Assistant Commander, and Member.
- Refer to the in-game Help for information on privileges for each squad rank.

* New Competition: Colosseum League
this league is like the FL but the difference is it was design to allow players to battle fairly, regardless of level and equipment. The league willl last for 60 mins. Andyou can participate upto 7 battles per colosseum league. Each battle has a 6 min. time limit.

Additional details are as follows:

- Effects of all equipment will be diminished.
- Attack Power and Evasion rates associated with the character�s level are not applied.
- All magic skills will be used at a set level.
- The maximum number of multiple hits is 3, and it will be possible to have 2 multiple hits even if the multiple hit rate is reduced.
- Accuracy and Dodge rates will be adjusted to be suitable for each mercenary.
- Vitality and Magic Power will be adjusted to be suitable for each mercenary.
- Magic Defense will be adjusted to be suitable for each mercenary.
- Attack Power, Defense, and Vitality of the main character will be higher than the mercenaries so that the main character will be more powerful than the mercenaries.
- Wins/Losses will not affect current division.
- Players will be matched against others within a 2 division range.

JUst wonder the time of the colosseum league if it was the same time of FL?

But wait there's more!

Have you thought about having 2 Janissaries, Oracles and Beast trainers? Yes! I don't know whether it's Imba but we can now have this in our formation.. specially the Janissary? wew!

Interface/Functionality
o Location Chat has been added.
- Location Chat will allow players in the same region to chat with each other.
- Your main character must be level 30 or above to use the Location Chat channel.
o You can now double click on a player�s name in the chat window to automatically open up a Whisper window with them.
o You can right-click on a player�s name in the chat window to open a menu with various options.
o The following system messages have been changed to now appear in the Notice window instead of the Chat window:
- Notice, Party Experience Distribution, Guild Notices, Nation Notices, Squad Notices, and Individual Workload progress.
o Disabling Nation chat should now function properly.
o The line spacing in the Whisper window has been increased to improve readability.

o When trading, you can now see the other player�s trade status easily.
o Help section has been added to the purchasing window of Medici�s interface.
o The congratulatory window that appeared when a rare fish was caught has been modified.
o The fishing window can no longer be opened when not in Hainan Island.
o The Atlantica Diary interface has been improved.
o When opening the Mailbox through a Note message, it will automatically take you to your Inbox.
o Shortcut icons on the left and right side of the screen have been changed to display appropriately based on the character�s level.
o Unnecessary message boxes have been removed in the tutorial area.
o The Bonus Time announcement notice has been fixed.

Majority of the contents of the patch are good for the players.. This is very anticipates isn't it?

Call of the wild � Patch Features!

When I was strolling down the announcement section today I saw this one and it gave me an overwhelming excitement! The patch features of the next patch have been released! The official announcement was made December 4, 2009.

In the announcement you can see that there are some info�s on how to recruit a Druid in your party as well as the level requirement to start the quest line of Sitting Bull at Coyote�s Valley.

It is now official that the Druid is a class A mercenary that is very difficult to recruit since it is recommended that you are level 120 to take the quest even though it is already available when you are level 100.

Another feature for the next patch is the Coliseum league. This is a new PVP feature of Atlantica Online in which you can participate in up to 7 battles which has a 6 minutes time limit. The Coliseum League would last for 60 minutes.

Who is RobinSwan? Does anybody know him? Well RobinSwan is our Atlantica World Champion. RobinSwan is a player from Sikyon. He is only level 115 but he grabbed the title of Atlantica World Champion in the 2009 Game and Game World Championship (GNGWC) last November.

I only know a few about RobinSwan, I only know is that he is from Sikyon, Level 115 and the Atlantica World Champion.

Christmas is drawing near! We have prepared a string of fun online and offline events for our players! You won't find any repetitive level grinding in these quests; we just get straight down to the presents! Let us see what will happen in ZO and what TQ will bring to us this Christmas!

Legend of Lost Treasure
You can open the treasure box outside the Steel Warship and get a nice prize! Just kill the pirates and you will be rewarded with ZPs and an EXP Module. Good luck!

Alliance Carnival
For those players whose level is 70 or above, you can find the appointed lottery place and Christmas tree, then you can play in the Lottery and get some amazing rewards! The Christmas trees will drop some Christmas Gift Packs in some random places on the Steel Warship at regular intervals. Keep an eye out for them, and those gift packs will belong to you! There are no level restrictions, so everyone should remember to log into ZO at that time and pick up these fabulous gift packs as soon as possible!

Snowmen Meltdown
There will be a Snowmen Meltdown campaign in Titan Icefield. You can find the relevant NPC and take part in this campaign to win some ZPs (bound). Have fun!

But that doesn�t mean you won�t be seeing those old costumes and mounts again, as Ndoors is introducing a new item box to item mall to solve all of your woes.

Introducing the Urd�s Earthen Stable, the newest premium item for Atlantica Online, What makes this box different from the others is that you can get a chance to obtain any mounts, where originally you can only obtain one kind of mount if you are lucky depending on the box you purchased. Last night I took a chance. I knew it would be a small one but the risk was worth taking. I got myself a heritage of Pocahontas. The culture of the Native Americans have always been very rich and colorful and I wondered how it would be like if I can also try and relive it in Atlantica Online. The moment I clicked on it I was in cross-fingered excitement wanting to get myself a Native American bundle, and to my disbelief, I got it! Here is the risk I took! I selected the Native American costume and now my character is one the select few who got to have the first taste of being a Native American.

Woot! A new costume is out... The native American costume which can be gotten from the "Heritage of pocahontas." It looks so cool and can already be viewed in the costume book. Also I like the fact that now you can pick if you will get the costume or the headgear after getting the clothes bundle. Mycenae is already being swamped with pop-ups on the costume. Gonna get me one of those, how about you guys?

After the release of the new update in Atlantica, New contents were introduced; among them was the new mercenary, the Punisher. But we are not talking about the Punisher; we are now talking about one of the new feature which is the Atlantica Diary.

The Atlantica Diary is a new feature where you can view tasks or events that you can participate when you are logged in to the game. When you logged into the game, the diary will automatically pops out to give you updates and new pending tasks. There are three categories in the diary: Things to do, Events and History. �Things to do� are tasks that you can do in the game such as giving gifts, opening boxes, observing a competition, etc, some tasks can be increase by using an Atlas Stone. �Events� are in-game event tasks, these are events that are organized by GMs in the game, and you can also view the mechanics there. And finally, History is more on trivial info about the NPCs in Atlantica. You can open the Atlantica Diary in the My Info menu or by pressing ALT+D

Another new feature is the Clothes Book, similar to the Mount Book; the Clothes Book lets you store your costumes and hats to earn Collection Points. You can also view the appearance of the costume by checking the Clothes Book. When retrieving a stored costume, you are required to pay a 20,000 gold fee. The Clothes Book can be access on the Game Info menu. With this new feature, players can now have a reason to collect costumes and doesn�t have a hard time storing them into their inventory.

With the release of the Atlantica Diary and Clothes Book, players will now have an easy time doing special tasks and participating in event and also collecting costumes will now become a breeze.

A Bit of Make Over (Revamp interface in Atlantica)

Aside from the new additions to Atlantica, the new patch update also included some revamps on the game interface.

One of the noticeable makeover was the change in the font in the game; there is line spacing in between the text, making chatting much easier to read. Also, the Information Book made a new change. The book has now the reddish colored theme and the page layout are a bit darker; making it looked more ancient compared to the old purple colored book cover and light colored pages. They also added a faded effect when opening and closing windows in the game, giving a dynamic look when navigating in the game�s interface.

Also, the Community feature also had some changes, such as increase in Guild Maintenance fee, modification in the Beginner gift giving tax. Players moving to Titan will still retain their current Will and Auto-Battle points, which is very helpful to players and also, players will get a notification when someone from their guild, friends moves to the Titan server.

And that�s not all, some new changes includes new shortcut keys for the Formation Window (ALT+F), In-game Forum Window (ALT+V) and Guild Ads are included. Also, new loading screens and a new graphic animation of female main staff users, giving the avatars a much powerful appearance.

With the revamp of the game interface, players will be refreshed to see an improved Atlantica Online.

Time to drug up your Stamina

A new item was just recently released after the maintenance of Atlantica Online, The Stamina Pill. By using the said item, players can regain 20 points of stamina on their character. Stamina is very important in AO, as getting into a battle requires the usage of stamina, and without stamina, you can�t participate a battle. The only way to regain stamina is by taking quests, leaving your character AFK (away from keyboard) for a long period of time or sharing monster info to other players. With the Stamina Pill; which is available in the in-game market, players now have the option to grind more to reach their targeted level.

However, many players have mixed reactions over the Stamina pill. Some say that the pills forces players to play more, as having small amount of stamina controls the player�s gaming time and with the Stamina pill being introduced, this extends the player�s gametime when playing. Some of them also stated that you don�t need to use a stamina pills as there are alternative ways to regain stamina they even symbolized the pills as �drugs� as players claimed it increases the addiction of players.

On the other hand, there are some that praises the arrival of the Stamina Pills. According to them, using the pills is a big benefit to low level players who are still grinding to reach higher levels, and they need lots of stamina to complete certain quests. This also gives them more time to grind on special events like bonus exp day.

Even with different reactions and opinions towards the Stamina Pill, the bottom line is that the pill is a good alternative way to increase your grinding session. It�s all up to the player�s decision whether or not they will use the Stamina Pill.

Music is one of the important factors in gaming; it brings life to the game, sometimes giving you energy to play more. Usually you hear different genres; from instrumental to techno to rock music. But what if instead of music, you put the musician him/herself into the game. Well musicians are becoming common to MMOs nowadays, using lute or guitars as weapons, but their traditional appearance are somewhat looked medieval or Victorian. But everything will change as Atlantica Online released a new kind of musician on their latest patch.

The Minstrel is the latest mercenary to be added into Atlantica Online. What makes her different from a traditional musician from other MMOs is that instead of portraying a classic appearance, she portrays more of a modern version, making her into a badass rocker chick. Aside from her looks, she is the only mercenary that uses an instrument and also can counter a power saw user, with her Seal Power Saw Skill; she can disable any power saw user from using their magic. Aside from the Seal Power Saw, she can be healer and debuffer with the Salvation Skill and a Silencer/ Damager with the Hallucination Skill.

Acquiring the Minstrel can be attained on level 100; to start the recruitment quest; you need to find and talk to NPC Nina Paganini near the Dallas Lawless District. The quest is influenced by one of the most celebrated violinists; Niccol� Paganini. The quest story revolves around Nina Paganini, a famous virtuoso, who was banished from Italy when the townspeople feared on her incredible talent, she now resides at Dallas Lawless District, but her parents were murdered by the Machine Brook�s Gang, she needs your help in avenging her parents and removing her newfound home from violence. What makes this quest different from the previous recruitment quest is that it has a time limit in accomplishing a certain task, if you fail to finish the quest within the time limit, then you have start the quest over again.

With the new mercenary, new strategies will be unfolded, letting players reorganized their formation to make new diversities. And having a Minstrel in your formation can be really cool, as it looked like you are forming your own rock band.

Solar Reaper
Learn the Solar Fusion in the unit Activation Mission, which will fuse the Light Infantry, Pyro Artillery and Cryo Artillery or Spec Artillery into the Solar Reaper. New technology awards this unit with the ability to automatically restore its HP every second.

Unit introduction: The Solar Reaper possesses a balance of skill and speed. Its groundbreaking armor design allows the unit unrivaled survivability on the battlefield and its new fusion core is capable of constantly regenerating any damage to its shields, making the Reaper a true force to be reckoned with.

Aureole Fairy

Recently, the Earth Alliance has received a military report from one of the battlefronts, that the enemies of the space force will launch an attack against Ursa Major very soon. As an allied partner, we must go to the aid of our friend.

To prepare for the battle, Captain Sanchez has been called back to the Warship to arrange the army. We hope as many pilots as possible can join this battle, and Sanchez will prepare our soldiers with an Alliance Material pack (have chance to open an Ultra) for each successful return from the battlefield.

This weekend, a representative from Ursa Major will come to the Warship and ask for your help. After you talk with him, he will present you with some ZPs(bound). But, same as the enemy, they are good at disguising themselves. They even allowed the local raiders to steal the Honor Emblem from us. We’ll need you to hunt them in all zones and retrieve the emblem. As a reward, you will gain some ZPs(bound)!

Note: Each player can only take part in the War of Ursa Major Event once a day.

Starting from August 18th until September 15th, a Wandering Merchant will be selling mysterious fishing bait! The NPC only carry a limited amount of bait each day so buy them before they run out! Purchasing a mysterious bait will cost [50,000] gold and 100% will.

After purchasing the Mysterious Bait, head over to Hainan Island to begin fishing. You must have [Action: Fishing] at a minimum of level 1 and you may use any fishing rod. There are plenty of fish in the sea-- but what other mysterious things are there? Cast your rod into the sea and find out!

After reading the event quoted below, I am trying to find how to get 3000 tusks. I know they have run this event already this year think back in march. But if i have done my math correctly and you were logged in for each hour it should break down to this:

4 weekend days x 12 = 48 tusks
5 weekdays x 6 = 30 tusks
total = 78 tusks

So other than buying tons and tons of tusks from the market how do you get 3000. for a mars rider you need 8 x 3000

If anyone knows something that I don't please let me know.

After being away from Atlantica for quite a while, I have decided to try it out again.

Last time I had I think a lv 35 spear and found one day all my gold was gone, and then I login 2 weeks later and my account has been blocked for hacking *sigh* So vowing that I will never play it again, here I am, playing it again. So far I have not really noticed any big changes though I find that people are still friendly like before (one of the big differences I find in this game).

So how do you all like it, I'm still only lvl 16 just started 3 days ago.

I always want to see a gunslinger type of merc, the one who can wield two pistols, it'll be so cool to see one

here's a sample of a character with two pistols (from a different MMO)

Atlantica Online has great news for everyone! Aside from the "Jackpot System" they are having a very big event.

Ndoors has announced an event called "MEGA EVENT" wherein all players can receive 1x [Event Entry Key] a day by staying logged into the game for an hour during the event period. The player will receive a notification in-game once the hour has been reached, and the key will automatically be sent to your mailbox. Player must be level 20 and above to be able to use the keys on the website. Once the key has been used, the player can log in to his or her account on the website to manage the keys.

First is a brand new, level 120 scenario dungeon called the Mysterious Inn. You’ll immediately be able to tell that inspiration for this dungeon was heavily drawn from the old Kung Fu movies. NPCs will be seen running up buildings, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, all to immerse the player into this Kung Fu world of ancient China. And when you encounter enemies in battle, they’ll pull off fancy acrobatic moves in strategic turn-based fashion.

The Mysterious Inn dungeon introduces a new NPC, Yayul, a dreamer who hopes to one day travel the world and hone his skills to become a master martial artist. But for now, he is merely an innkeeper who provides solace to the many weary travelers in his hometown. This dungeon also continues the development of the evil organization, Chin Tai Dong Do, which was previously introduced in the Women’s Village quest. Members of this group have forcefully taken over Yayul’s inn, believing that it houses an ancient relic that gives its wielder amazing power. So Yayul takes it upon himself, with the assistance of good Samaritans, to reclaim the inn and restore it as the peaceful hospice it once was.

The second feature we’re introducing in Patch 3.1 is the Jackpot system, and we came up with this idea because we wanted to players to have a chance at obtaining just the items they want or need. This does indeed raise possible economic concerns, so to take advantage of this system, a player must purchase the Jackpot License for a fixed price from the market. For these players, all accumulated items collected from battle will go into a separate jackpot window, where players can then choose to acquire all, or take the Jackpot Challenge. Selecting the Jackpot Challenge will direct the player to select only one of their items from the Jackpot window. The player will then receive just that item in multiple quantities, depending on the total value of the other accumulated items.

What is New In June

June is a month full of new quests and missions, and also a time to earn fantastic prizes and gain honor among your comrades! Now, let's take a look at what we can expect for Zero this June.

Free Zero Points Shower
It is been a long time since the last free ZP event was held. So to remind our players of what they're missing out on, here is another chance to gain a lot of free ZPs from the Othello invaders during June 13th-14th. All enemies have the chance to drop free ZPs on the ground once they are destroyed.

Tell Your Friend
Invite your friends to join the Zero universe, and earn free ZPs! Many veteran pilots must still remember the previous contest called "Tell Your Friends". This contest worked so well the first time, we've decided to bring it back again! Of course, it's not exactly the same, as the rules and prizes are a little different from the previous contest. This time, it will be more involved and challenging than ever before!

Daily Mission
From June 5th on, there will be one special event held per day, as well as 10 different events each week! You can participate in all kinds of events and win the amazing prizes.

Quiz Contest
From June 23rd on, all pilots can answer the quiz questions to receive a reward everyday! You will receive some bonus exp for every correct answer, but even if you don't get it right, you will still get a little exp for trying. This will give you a chance to learn all kinds of trivia knowledge, together with the rich gaming experience. If you are ranked on the top 3 list, you can even win Exp Recorders as an extra reward for your amazing knowledge!

Cosmos Apocalypse

The Moon and Centaurus server merge is estimated to take about 6 hours to complete. When the servers are up, you will be able to explore the Expanding Horizon, start your adventure in the Orion world, and Moon pilots will meet their new and old friends on Centaurus.

New Expansion: Expanding Horizon
The Expanding Horizon is ready to open its gates to all pilots. At that time, you will able to fuse your unit with your ARMs, start your hyper research, and explore the new planets for treasure and glory… Have no idea what the Expanding Horizon will hold? New Server: Orion
The Alliance is expecting all new and veteran pilots to begin a fresh journey in a fresh new world, Orion. Here, all pilots will start from the very beginning. Come to this realm and create your legend of heroes and glory!

2nd Round Academy Recruitment
To celebrate the opening of the new expansion and server, the Alliance is recruiting new pilots to challenge the new world and fight against the Othello invaders. To help the recruits level up and become powerful very quickly, the Military Academy will provide many awesome benefits (worth USD 30) for the recruits, including a 7 day Military Badge, 1,470 free ZPs, and a full set of Elite equipment. Of course, you need to work hard to receive all these amazing prizes! Details.

Moon and Centaurus Server Merge
The Moon Server will be merged with Centaurus. When the merge is finished, the Moon server will be removed from the Galaxy. Moon pilots can continue their battle for supremacy in Centaurus.

After the merge, all stats for the Centaurus pilots will remain unchanged. Some stats of the Moon pilots may be affected:

Character Removal
If one of your accounts has characters on both Moon and Centaurus, Only one character will be kept:
1. The characters with a higher rank will be kept.
2. The character with a higher level will be kept.
3. If the level and rank are the same, only the Centaurus character will be kept.
4. If you want to keep your favorite character, you can delete the unwanted character before the server merge on May 22, 2009 at 00:01 PDT (GMT-7).

Character Rename
If your Moon character's name (character name or squad/fleet name) is the same as one of the Centaurus characters, your Moon character's name will have an [001] added by the system automatically. If you do not like the new name, you can find the Rename NPC (Steel Warship 570,780) to give your character the desired name.

Cores Removal
The cores sold at the Core Dealer (460,821) will not be kept after the server merge. If you want to keep them, please get them back to your cabin or save them in the warehouse before the merge.

Other Stats
Some other stats including friends, enemies, and your spouse may be affected too. For more details, click here.

Academy Recruitment Returns (May 22- June 19)

To celebrate the opening of the new expansion and server, the Military Academy is posting an APB for all available pilots! The Academy has prepared many fantastic prizes for all new recruits. With these rewards, each recruit can level up very quickly and become powerful enough to take on the Othello! Of course, only the hardest training recruits are eligible to receive all the prizes. What prizes you receive is determined by how you train your units.

2. 1,470 Free ZPs
These points are available to be fully claimed in 15 days. One time each day, you are eligible to claim the desired points once you meet the level requirements. If you miss one day's chance, you can only claim that day's points the next day. For example, if you miss the 10th day's prize, you can only claim the 10th day's prize on the 11th day, and you will wait until the 12th day to claim the 11th day's prize, and so on. That means you will miss the 15th day's prize forever. So don't wait to level up and claim your free ZPs!

3. Full Set of Elite Equipment (8 pieces)
You should claim the awarded equipment in 15 days at 8 times. You are able to select one piece of desired equipment from a full set of equipment each time. If you miss one day's chance, you will miss this chance forever. For example, if you miss the 1st day's chance, you can only claim the 2nd day's equipment on the 2nd and 3rd day, and so on.

4. Recruit-Package
You will receive a recruit package once you create your character and log in the game. After you meet the level requirements, you can open your cabin, then right click on this package to receive your free ZPs and select your elite equipment. Remember to do so as soon as you can, or you will miss your chance for some of the amazing items in store!

From May 22, 2009 on, Orion will be open to all pilots. We welcome all recruits and veterans to explore this fresh new world! The Alliance is expecting you to claim the supplies that have been specially prepared for you. Hi guys... it's been a while since i have gone to this beautiful forum section of us, Atlantica Players, anyway, i have been busy with some stuffs and now i was surprised that from being a mycenean, i am now a delphian (if there exist such words). Ive gobe through the main AO forum and i saw a new mount from the korean server... it was a pegasus merged with a unicorn. Its kinda cool yet it looks so feminine. hahaha! I think its a fine gift for girlfriends, wives, daughters or nieces. anyway, have any of you seen any updates or future updates that i have overlooked? I missed Zanpa and Blaaster!!! I heard that Blaater had a conflict in game with some requiem members. i hope its fine now.

Moon and Centaurus Merge on May 22

You are on Moon. I am on Centaurus. We are so far away from each other, it seems that we can never meet and fight together.

So now, an opportunity for both Moon and Centaurus pilots has come. From May 22, 2009 on, Moon pilots will be able to land on Centaurus to meet their old friends and find a few new ones at the same time!

The server merge will take place on May 22, 2009 at 00:01 PDT (GMT-7). At that time, both servers will be brought down for the merge.

Rules:
1. All Moon characters will be transferred to Centaurus, while the Centaurus characters will remain unchanged.
2. After Moon is merged with Centaurus, the Moon server will disappear from the galaxy. All accounts and characters will remain the same.
3. If you are from Moon and your character name happens to be the same as one of the Centaurus characters, your name will be changed by the system at the time of the merge. If you are not satisfied with your new name, you can find the Rename NPC to give your character your desired name, but only for a short time.
4. Some of your social stats will be cleared during the merge, including friends, enemies, and your spouse.
5. Some of your fleet and squad stats will be affected, too.

as much as possible, i really don't like buying from the item mall. but then yesterday if i remembered correctly...the new costume was out and i was curious how it would look like. so i took my chance and bought just one (100GCoins). i didnt really expect anything since i kinda figured the drop rate was quite low. but when i opened my only box, it became 3, then it became 5, then 6... got a few scrolls, ambrosia, and then more scrolls... then voila! one costume. i still dont have the head part though, but i think i can buy one in game. anyway just sharing. i spent a buck on good items. not bad for me
