So I seen Avatar, earlier today at an IMax 3D showing. The movie was visually awesome to look at, especially in 3D. The explosions could be felt (I'd assume it was the IMax theater). However a few things I didn't like about the movie. It sounded like they were speaking Indian (Native American), most of the animals had sounds taken from either other movies or real life animals, and the story has been told a dozen times (maybe not exactly this way but still has been told). Though I did like the movie but I kinda think it was because of the IMax theater and 3D effects. If you see it like that, you'll enjoy yourself.

Ninja Assassin, was well I know it wasn't going to be life like or anything. Few things got me though. The extremely over amplified sound effects for things you could barely/couldn't hear hurt my ears BADLY (very sensitive ear drums). The next thing you would think they would have shown them the proper way to use a "Wet Stone" lol..... Other than those not a bad movie, kinda dumb here and there. All and all action/gore movie that wasn't half bad.

I watched this movie the other day and I must say that at first I didn't expect much from it, until the end when I realized that the movie was indeed really good.

Basically, man has officially started mining on the moon (Helium 3), with Sam Bell (main character) working for Lunar Corp. in order to make sure that all operations or machines on the moon remain functional. His duties require him to check the systems and launch back the gathered Helium 3 back to our home planet, Earth.

Not long after he gets injured and suddenly, there are now two Sam's. What has the company done? Who is Sam Bell?

The movie is designed to be rather confusing at the start, and not long after you realize what real objective is. A great movie.

Lol that last line is basically what I said about the first one. Total garbage and the writer of the books should be gagged to death with a roll of film from these movies.

Ok the Men Who Stare At Goats, was an ok comedy. Granted like most comedies there was funny parts. Only thing I found really bad about the movie was you don't really laugh it but more or less just smile, at the thoughts of these things actually (supposedly) supposed to have happened (not 100% like the movie mind you, but take place none the less). So it is an ok comedy but probably not worth seeing in Theaters, unless you go with a bunch of friends so you can all have a good time making fun of the movie itself rather than laughing at what is taking place on screen.

2012 Movie - The End of the World

After watching this long movie in the cinemas it made me wonder whether such an event could happen in such a short time frame. Although certain facts presented in the movie are indeed real, in terms of the galactic alignment, others also present fictional hypothesizes. Even though at times i believed in the 2012 theory, the way in which this movie depicts some of these events is rather catastrophic or overly exaggerated. I think one of the common theories is about another planet, called planet X, hitting us in the near future or passing by real close which triggers these sort of events. Lots of experts have clearly stated that such a planet does not exist in our radars and close astronomers that I know in Western Australia have also laughed at the theory.

Overall the movie was filled with a lot of CGI/graphics. I would give this movie about 6.5 out of 10. The advantage of watching this in the cinema rather than on DVD is to experience the joy ride that the character takes you through, almost like an IMAX experience (without the 3D glasses).

Ok so Paranormal Activity, was an awesome movie. I didn't find it at all scary. I found the idea of the events in the movie taking place and how they took place awesome. The idea of this taking place while you are trying to catch the thing that is haunting your household with a camera. Also just the way they did the effects were awesome in their own right. I mean they only spent about $12,000 on the movie but it was an awesome movie. Now again I didn't find this movie scary, in fact I found it funny. Not from the movie itself but from the audience. The reactions, the screams, the sounds people made as they lost their breath, and the comments after the scenes were priceless. So if you are gonna see this movie, firstly take people that jump or get scared easily and secondly go when the movie theater is full; trust me the laughs you will get out of that part is worth the money.

Even things you didn't know about from the first Five movies was revealed. So I dunno, if you liked the first few go see this one. If you haven't seen the previous Five movies don't see it as most of it wont make sense and it'll just be a gore flick to you.

Law Abiding Citizen, was a great movie. The idea and the whole plot wasn't original but it was original for them to be all together. I greatly enjoyed the comedy and sadistic comedy. How he did these things was a mystery till the end of the movie, that was one thing I didn't see coming. SO if you enjoy killings and overall good movie you'll enjoy this one for sure.

Gamer, was actually pretty good. It is rated R for titties and gore so just a heads up. An old couple got up and left half way through the movie (I don't know what they were thinking lol). Reminded me of the Running Man a bit. Couple funny scenes here and there, but mostly actions and titties. So check it.

District 9, was a pretty odd movie. It was originalish. The aliens and the hole idea of their ship was original. The crises that plagued the movie's "World" were all taken from the real world's problems. The weaponry in the movie was neat but the ideas behind them have been forever as old as firearms themselves. With that being said the movie was actually pretty good. The fact that they kept it cryptic in the previews was nice because it didn't clue you in to the whole story in the movie. The only thing I didn't like about the movie was the fact that the plot/story was very predictable after about 30 minutes into the movie. However you may have known what was gonna happen but you didn't know the special effects or how things were going to completely unfold. So overall the movie was actually very nice, I enjoyed it.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, well first I can say I will take back that I thought this movie would be an utter failure. I actually thought it wasn't half bad, a lot better than I thought it would be. All the Evil and Good guys from the G.I. Joe cartoon had an appearance, you also got to see how some of them came to be. Now it wasn't spot on with the old cartoon show but you know it could have been worse. I didn't like what they did to the Baroness, at the end of the movie at all but meep whattyah do.

P.S. Sienna Miller, LOOKS way better with black hair, even if it was a wig lol.

Let me just say if you saw Borat, and laughed at it you'll do the same for, Bruno. However if you thought Borat, was tasteless and didn't find it funny then don't even rent this movie or try to find it online. If you are at all homophobic you most likely walk out of this movie in the first 10 minutes. The bits in Bruno, were great and the reactions of people were even better. Some of the setups for the scenes where hilarious and how they played out was even better. So see this one if you have a sense of humor.

Transformers 2, was purty to look at and had awesome sound effects but ultimately like the first it failed. First reason it failed was the kid (he's a shitty actor), second reason was the story (just ****ing retarded), and the third reason was Starscream still sounds lamezilla. So yah if you want something to watch and be impressed with the effects and sounds sure go see this movie. However if you are hoping that it's something like the Transformers cartoon, steer clear of it.

First off I must say if you in fact have ever been "Hungover" yourself, you are instantly going to love this movie. A lot of the comedy has been used before but also some of it is new to me (and I see a lot of comedy stuff). The Hangover, was a great movie (guys would probably like it more than the chicks). Anyhow see it and laugh, that is all you have to do.

Terminator Salvation... Now before I explain anything someone asked if Christian Bale, could save the Terminator lineage. I'd have to say him and Sam Worthington, together did indeed save it. Now the movie was great in it's overall layout of events. The graphics and actions scenes were very well done. Then there was the A10's... I've personally witnessed A10's dropping napalm/cluster bombs and using their 30mm Gatling cannon it is a sight to behold, also the sound they make when they fly over leaves a lasting impression as well it's a one of a kinda engine sound (like the SR71 Blackbird). So for me that was one of my favorite parts of the movie. I am not going to reveal anything else but there was scene in the movie that gave me Goose bumps.

P.S. Now only if they'd remake Terminator 3, to something good it'd all be good.

So I just got back from Star Trek, and wow that movie was so ****ing badass. I thought it was going to be horrible but I loved everything about it. The best part about when I seen it was I seen in IMax. Everything from the effects to the acting to the plot to the overall roll out of the whole movie was amazing. Now I maybe saying this just because I loved to watch the old Star Trek show. Though even with that being said I am sure if you don't that you will love this movie just for the special effects. So I give this movie two thumbs up, two big toes up, and a mighty boner up

P.S. I've been watching a lot of movies like always but I haven't been posting them because I just haven't felt like it.

I just got done watching Wonder Woman, the 2009 Animated Movie by DC Comics and Warner Brother's Premier. I must say with past ventures into both Wonder Woman cartoons, movies, and even that god awful show from 1970's I hadn't had much hope for this movie. That was all shattered in the first 20 minutes of the movie. The opening scene was a brilliant Amazon VS Evil type battle. The use of Gods and Goddesses in character and reference throughout the hole movie was enjoyable (I do love the old Greek Mythology). The animation itself was pretty well done. There was blood (however little amounts of it there were), partial (I wish full ) Amazon nudity, and pretty good hand to hand combat scenes throughout the hole movie. I thoroughly enjoyed this cartoon movie of Wonder Woman in all aspects of plot, story, execution, and the ending. If you enjoy Comic Book Heroes, Wonder Woman, or are just looking for a good cartoon movie to watching I'd recommend this 2009 Wonder Woman Cartoon Movie.

The Pink Panther 2, was easily by far better than the first one and that was only in the first 30 minutes. The comedy was all thrown together in an unsorted mess of lines which you can't help but laugh at. There were sexiest and racist remarks that I personally couldn't stop but laugh very long at even when the hole scene was over. I figured the movie out at about the 20 minute mark but that wasn't the point. The point is to laugh at what I thought was finally worthy of the "Pink Panther" Title name stake. Very funny, worth watching.

Amatsuki - Only 13 episodes. I would give this anime a 6 out of 10.
-- The story is basically a kid who gets shifted from the Earth dimension into the Amatsuki dimension (a world rules by humans, spirits and demons). He basically contains the ability to do anything, his considered the blank-page since the gods have not set a fate for him - so each side want to gain him as an ally. Personally the story line is up and down and makes no real sense towards the end - the ending is terrible, does not answer any of my questions, nor do i know what really happens. Perhaps a squeal will be coming soon.

Vampire Knight & Vampire Knight Guilty - 26 episodes (or 13 ep each season). I would give this anime a 7.5 out of 10. The first season has hardly any battles, but a lot of personal and verbal conflicts. The story is about a school which contains day and night classes (day are humans, night are vampires). Basically its a time where people want each side to live together peacefully - we find that it becomes difficult for this to happen throughout the series.

Gode Geass - 50 episodes (split into 2 seasons). I give this anime a 10 out of 10. One of my personal favourites, i dont think there is any other anime which can top this one. Very suspenseful, like Death Note. Basically its a kid and sister who happen to be former royal family members who have left and now the kid gets a special eye ability called "geass" which lets him control anyone's actions by looking into their eyes. Each episode is full of excitement and action! MUST Watch!

Friday the 13th, was pretty good. Lots of boobies. Both victims and Jason ran so it wasn't like the zombie walking ones. The deaths were awesome lol, I laughed at most. The ending was to Par with the second movie in almost all aspects. The beginning of the movie fills you in on what would have been a boring first movie. I liked it but then again I liked the first three Friday the 13ths.

Defiance, wasn't a bad movie. The story is true (or closely based on it). The effort into the acting wasn't that great though. However what they overcame rather than giving up was what I would have done. At the end of the movie they tell you what they did by World War 2's end and it was might impressive. So all and all not a bad movie, but I didn't care for some of the actor's/actress's acting.

Children of Men, has an old style apocalyptic vision of the future. Twist is there hasn't been a baby born in nearly 19 years. All I am going to reveal of this story line. This was an unusual roll for Clive Owen. For most of the beginning of the movie I was actually pretty bored but about when the "Leadership" changes I got really interested in the movie. The ending of the movie was odd, they didn't reveal anymore of the movie's plot after the ending scene. All and all not a bad movie.

Um... I have seen these types of things at almost every forum I have gone to, or most of them... I browsed through the 4 pages here and didn't see it, though I did see that pinned poll asking what music genre is their favorite, or what they listen to most commonly... if there is a reason this wasn't done I apologize, and sorry for spamming.

I'm sure you knew, but basically you post the name of the song and the artist/band who performs it... if you're listening to it at the moment, or maybe even list more than one if it's coming up on a playlist..? Baramui Fighter (Fighter In The Wind, English Title), is based on a Biography of a Korean guy in post World War 2 Japan. Whom rises against all odds to become to best Fighter in Japan. That is all from the movie I am going to tell you about, because how he gets there and what he overcomes to get there is awesome. The movie is from Korea but the primary Language is Japanese, you can tell every now and then when they talk in Korean but that isn't often. Good movie from beginning to end, though there was some annoying parts lol.

Dororo, is a crazy under budgeted Japanese movie. I would try and describe it to you but it'd just lose it's flare. Either that or I'd completely mess it up. It also uses old Japanese dialects so it sounds odd too. Dororo: Monster Child, 2007 check it out for a good movie.

In this apartment there is also a black sphere called Gantz. Kei and the others have to obey Gantz's rules if they want to live. They have to participate in missions in which the objective is to eliminate aliens. But who or what are these aliens? are Kei, Kato and the others alive or dead?

Unlike the previous Resident Evil film trilogy, Degeneration is set within the same universe as the original video games.
The main characters are Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, who appear together for the first time in the franchise since Resident Evil 2.

Transporter 3, was well a Transporter movie. It had the feel of the first one without the retardedness of the Virus. The fight scenes were just like the last two movies. I just couldn't take the red head serious. If she was acting, it was bad; if she was being serious in her acting skills were laughable at best. Jason Statham, made the movie she didn't help it all.

I personally believe that Yu Yu Hakusho is one of the best anime series of all time. I had watched it from it's 1st to it's last season, and felt that the ending was too soon and rather incomplete. Twilight, was an odd Vampire movie. Basically a love tail between a Vampire and a Human. Almost the hole movie was this love tail, few moments of Vampire power display, a couple unique ideas for Vampires to have, a neat fighting concept but far too short, and a happy ending for almost all. I never read the books or even heard about them till I saw the previews for this movie so I am basing this on the movie only. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good, average movie at best.

Role Models, was a great comedy. The little kids in this movie were actors but oh so funny. The plot and every bit of comedy was priceless. All forms of comedy were in this movie as well from crude to witty. The ending was happy but over all the movie itself was funny as hell.

So I saw this movie and no one had "reviewed" it here, so I will.

This movie tells the tale of a journalist (Josh Hartnett) who is trying to do better and living up to his father's name.
The journalist finds this homeless guy (Samuel L. Jackson) that everyone calls "Champ" and the guy says his name is Bob Satterfield (old time hw boxer that everyone thought was dead). And the journalist starts to investigate and make a story about the Champ.

Well I won't tell any more about the story, but overall the movie was rather good. Samuel as the homeless Champ was the best choice for this movie, he himself kept the movie going and going. Hartnett was ok, but wasn't what I expected.
The movie had its downtime around the halfway and became rather dull towards the end and had some pointless "we need more minutes" moments. But you should see this drama anyway.

How to Lose Friends & Alienate People, was a hard movie to find. I actually never got to see it in theaters so I had find "alternate" means to see this one. I have liked most movies Simon Pegg, has been in was the real reason I wanted to see this one (that and I couldn't sleep tonight). Very funny movie with some moments of "oh no they didn't". The comedy ranges from witty to crude, with a few British humor punch lines. A number of celebrities star in this movie either as someone in the movie or as themselves. I enjoyed it all up to the "happy ending".

So I was sitting here watching TV when Inside Man, man comes on. Now it was on USA so it was censored, so I loaded my On Demand and found it. I must say for a movie I have never seen or heard of with one of my favorite Actors Clive Owen (Shoot Em Up ftw), in it I was thoroughly impressed. Great plot, witty humor, awesome plot twists (yes twists), and an awesome ending. One of my favorite Cop/Robbery movies to date, I must buy it.

I went to see this yesterday and I thought it was great. Not quite as good as Casino Royale but more of the same. Being as good as Casino Royale would've been very difficult but they very nearly managed it. Violence is there, Action is there and the Bond Girls are there. 2 very hot Bond Girls.. anyway, the movie. It has a great opening sequence with the car chase and then it just carries on from there. The whole movie is very good. I recommend it to all of you.

Futurama: Bender's Game, was the newest Futurama movie. It was a great comedy oh god, way better than the first one (Bender's Big Score) and it tops the second one (The Beast with a Billion Backs). The stupid shit, the witty shit, the plan weirdness; this movie had it all. The last 20ish minutes of the movie made my eyes flow waterfalls of tears of laughter. Saw V (5), was a closer type of a movie. That fills in all the little gaps and pieces of from the previous four. The movie also had to do the hole "Jigsaw Killings" thing with it's own brand of torturous killings. Sex Drive, is well by the name itself you can tell is a basically tasteless humor movie. Don't expect anything super witty or extremely smart in this comedy. Personally I found the movie hilarious, because I can only imagine how many kids in real life have done similar... Max Payne, was rich in detail and execution of scenes. In fact I only seen one fault with the action (loading a shotgun shell right after he just did). The slow motion scenes they had were very few but when they did have em they were amazing to look at. All that said I have never played any of the Max Payne, movies but the movie looked awesome so I thought I'd go to it. So I do not know if the movie followed suit with the game or not. With that being said there was a few things to the plot I didn't fully understand until the movie was almost over, that I wish had made themselves clear earlier. All and all I did like the movie.

P.S. The bit after the credits (yes there is one) was very foreseeable.
