Seoul, March 17 - Shoot’em up RPG Valkyrie Sky, serviced at global game portal GameKiss, will unveil “girly pets” which users can raise after the update on March 24.

In Valkyrie Sky, the pet system doesn’t work like in conventional MMORPGs in which pets play complementary roles including supporting attacks or enabling players to use pet inventories for their own lack of inventories. Instead, pets will be the only channel to collect all the items necessary for all in-game production activities and the “Awakening Stones” necessary for a characters’ growth. Characters and pets are designed to develop close partnerships as though they raise pets in real life.

“All new four pets have cute appearances. Especially Elinia and Eimy are in human forms with elf-like appearances which will invoke users to take care of them. We believe they will receive more devotion and care from users,” said Joey, the service manager of Valkyrie Sky. In fact, these contents have already been unveiled in Valkyrie Sky’s local service in Japan and received much attention.

The update March 24 update will also include the “Fruit of Yggdrasil” system which helps players with gaining experience and game points easier, and the “social action” system which will enable characters to express feelings such as joy, sadness and embarrassment.

These update is expected to enable much more diversity and plentiful of game-play.

The Temple, open to players level 105 and above, is perhaps the most dangerous place in Silkroad Online, largely because player vs. player combat is highly encouraged within its walls. Another new feature, the Set Item system, allows players to trade in gold and silver coins for gear sets that grow more powerful when worn together. These coins can only be collected from Alexandria’s dungeons, so expect a challenge if you want to complete each set.

Since the alpha test began for IGG's newest 3D MMORPG, Tales of Fantasy users have been having a great time enjoying the unique gameplay and exploring the games wonderful features. However, a quest called Daily Hot Spring is proving to be quite a nightmare for inexperienced new comers. So today, the official team will unveil some secret hints and tips to help you get by.

With the promise of free experience and skill points for players who submerge themselves in the game's hot springs, players are taking great interest in these quests. Unfortunately for many, bathing in those waters can be a dangerous pastime, as proven by death tolls numbering in the thousands. Thankfully, with tips from the game's friendly GMs and the spirit of teamwork, players have found better ways to enjoy these tricky quests. To help players better understand the hot springs, the Tales of Fantasy Development Team took time to share a few facts and pointers about the mysteries surrounding these natural wonders.

Origins
The world of Tales of Fantasy is in a state of constant strife between two opposing factions, so players are hard-pressed to level up quickly to maintain the competitive strength of the faction they serve. Since grinding levels can become a boring and mundane task, the Tales of Fantasy team came up with a free and easy alternative: the hot springs!

The hot springs in the game were inspired by those found in various countries and cultures around the world, tracing back ages and renowned for the amazing healing and revitalizing effects that are much sought after even today.

What You Need to Know
Naturally the hot springs are, as the name suggests, hot! In Tales of Fantasy, the amazing EXP and SP gains they offer come at a price. Due to the side effects, which include a constant sapping of strength and eventual dehydration, a direct decrease in HP occurs when characters stay submerged in the hot springs for too long. Upon reaching 0 HP in the springs, a character will die, so players need to be careful. There are 2 kinds of hot spring quests – the cooler version which reduces HP by 200 per second, and the hotter version which reduces HP by 500 per second. Players must complete the quests in order – and with each level completed, more EXP and SP will be earned.

Objectives
The importance of teamwork can't be stressed enough. Without teammates, many worthwhile endeavors are doomed to failure. There are classes in the game that have the ability to restore the health of their teammates, which comes in handy at the hot springs. Beyond tactical concerns, teaming is a good way to keep things fresh and form bonds with other players. Here's a note of caution though - using of restoration potions in the hot springs won't work!

If you can’t find any teammates, why not consider parting with some of your money to hire other players to help you with the quest? And if you happen to be a Healer, this is the perfect opportunity to make some money too! Make new friends and line your pockets - all at the same time!

Here’s a hint, players can employ the use of amulets in the hot springs to restore HP when it runs low (please take note of the cooldown time, though). Even better, these amulets are available from various low level quests!
The hot springs quest lasts for a total of 30 minutes, so while you're gaining amazing amounts of EXP and SP, there's plenty of time to make a few new friends, too. Tales of Fantasy is not just about mounted combat; it's about the various little things one can do, as well.

It was a typical sunday morning when i am home with my kiko, a 10 month husky. some thoughts just popped up on my mind that i can't help sharing with you guys.

Even the best historians could not tell when humans first started keeping animals as pets. We do not know the exact species of pets but we do know why we keep them. Pets are the most dependable, loyal friends. Their love is unconditional and without any judgment. However, raising a pet can be really challenging. It�s like caring for a kid. You can�t leave them alone. Problems pop up when you have to walk away. Who�s gonna take care of them?

Thanks to the genius Japanese toy innovator Bandai, all the problems were solved! In 1996, we had a new option � the first electronic pet, Chicken Little! These colorful egg-shaped pocket toys are really cute. You can take them wherever you go! Except for that they are toys, they are just like normal pets. You have to feed them, bath them, play with them and teach them how to follow your orders. If you�re careless, they could get sick or even die! Yah�maybe you�ll feel sad about it but just one click, you can start it all over again! Brilliant! Isn�t it?

And then, the digital pets evolved, in even wider scale and become more intellectual! You have electronic cats, dogs, rabbits�and lot more, anything you could imagine! The first and the most famous robot doggie Aibo, designed by SONY in 1999 (I have to say, the Japanese people is genius in entertainment!), has open the age of home entertainment robots. Seoul, March 12 - Shoot'em up RPG Valkyrie Sky, serviced at global game portal GameKiss, is hosting the "My Valkyrie Sky" event which gives users the role of public relations officers, beginning from March 12.

In this event, users act as public relations officers, and the way to publicize can be different depending on users. What GameKiss requires are users who introduce the game briefly on their social networking sites (SNS) including Facebook, Twitter and MySpace. There is no limit for formats, so users can use their creativity to write an introduction about the game or make some drawings or make a UCC (user created content) videos. Users are free to use any methods for publicity.

"Many users have volunteered in publicizing the game, and that has been a great help to the growth of the game. We always wanted to thank the users, but it is difficult to match the users' accounts and their social network activities. That's why we planned this event," said Joey, who is responsible for the Valkyrie Sky service. Also, on Mar. 17, the day the event starts, the second phase of the item update of the Major Update Ver. 4 will be carried out. IncGamers Interview with NcSoft's "Guild Wars 2 Designers"

IncGamers caught up with the ArenaNet team who answered a few questions regarding the sequel. On hand to answer our questions were Eric Flannum, Lead Designer, Curtis Johnson, Designer, Jon Peters, Designer Ree Soesbee, Designer. Topics covered in the interview include races,. PvP, Lore and more.

The most recent trailer showed us GW2’s five races. Does each race have unique abilities, and how important will they be when choosing a character?

Eric Flannum: Each of the five races has unique skills available to them. Our philosophy behind the design of these racial skills is that they are slightly weaker than equivalent skills determined by profession. While they may be less powerful, the racial skills capture the flavor of each race and provide additional options for the player. For example, a human playing a profession that normally doesn’t have a good way of dealing with conditions could take the “Prayer to Kormyr” racial skill, which removes a condition but is a fair bit weaker than comparable skills provided by a profession specializing in condition removal. By doing this, we hope to give the various races access to skills that make them feel unique without making them overpowered when played as a particular profession.

Will there be high-level Pick-Up Group PvP, as we saw in Heroes’ Ascent?

Jon Peters: We have two main types of competitive play in Guild Wars 2. First we have World vs World (WvW), which pits uneven numbers of players against each other across large maps and involves level progression. We also have Player vs Player, which pits smaller groups of evenly matched opponents against each other.
The plan for PvP is that it will be broken down into two types of play: tournaments and pick-up play. Tournaments will allow organized teams to face off in brackets that determine an eventual winner. These will run frequently to give ad-hoc teams a fighting chance. Pick-up play will feature variable team sizes and will be hot-joinable. Players can form a group or play solo, picking a game to join based on map, available space, and other settings. Rather than spending time looking for a group, players will simply be able to jump in on their own, form a group with friends or strangers, and look for a game that satisfies their level of play.

In GW1, the norn worship six spirits: the Bear, the Raven, the Wolf, the Ox, the Wurm and the Owl. One GW2 interview mentions different spirits: the Bear, the Raven, the Wolf and the Snow Leopard. Have the Norn really changed the spirits they revere? If so, is there a lore explanation for the change?

Ree Soesbee: The norn have not changed the spirits they revere; the list in GW1 was an incomplete one. Although the Great Spirit, Bear, is seen as the strongest, most important Spirit of the Wild, she certainly is not the only one to guide and inspire the norn people. Groups of norn – usually families, larger lodge houses, or isolated hearthsteads – tend to revere a particular animal spirit more than others, invoking its bravery, wisdom, or cunning in order to emulate its beneficial qualities. As with all things, the norn are very individualistic about their personal beliefs. This means that in some areas, Ox is a very well-known spirit and guardian, while in others he is far less important.

When the Elder Dragon Jormag arose in the northern Shiverpeaks, the norn were led south to establish Hoelbrak by four of their most powerful Spirits of the Wild – Bear, Raven, Snow Leopard, and Wolf. The other spirits did not take an active hand in the norn exodus. Spirits such as Ox and Owl had other issues taking their attention; they were not able to lend their aid to the norn in their time of greatest need. The four Spirits of the Wild that aided the norn the have become more prevalent, and the norn who settled Hoelbrak built four large Spirit Lodges to thank them for their protection and wisdom. The other spirits are not given the same prominence, but that does not mean they have been forgotten.

What's the degree of hostility between the Gold Legion and the other charr legions? Do they openly try to kill each other, or is it just a matter of not liking each other but working together for the good of the charr?

Ree Soesbee: Open warfare rages between the three charr legions and the Flame Legion, mockingly called the ‘Gold Legion’ by their foes due to their soft characteristics and reliance on magic rather than weaponry. The Flame Legion subjugated and enslaved the other three legions during the period before the Searing through the fall of Ascalon. Kalla Scorchrazor’s defiance and the great war between the charr earned freedom once more for the Iron, Ash, and Blood Legions, the Flame Legion fell into chaos – but they did not lose their drive and determination to gather all charr under their banner and seize the throne of the Khan-Ur.

It has taken the Flame Legion two hundred years to gather their forces enough to once more face the other three legions in open battle, but even over that time, they never lost sight of their goal. They have used tactics ranging from guerilla warfare and sabotage to infiltration and betrayal, all in the name of power. There have been times during the interregnum when the Flame Legion was strong enough to challenge one, or even two of the other legions – but now, with the rise of their new ‘God,’ Gaheron Baelfire, the Flame Legion is strong enough to challenge the combined might of all three legions in battle.

If the Flame Legion dominates the Iron, Ash, and Blood Legions once again, they will usher in a new era of tyranny among the charr. They will take their vengeance on the charr females who dared oppose them and raise weapons against their ‘rightful lords.’ They will raise Gaheron – one of their own – to be the sole God among their race, and other charr will worship him, or be destroyed.

So, no. I wouldn’t say it’s an amicable relationship.

How long does an asura live? We got some hints on GW:EN that an asura could live for centuries�

Ree Soesbee: Asura live for slightly longer than a human – perhaps 5-10% longer (an exceptional lifespan for an asura might be 120 years). They do not live for centuries – but asura inventions often continue to operate long after the original architect has become no more than a facet in the Eternal Alchemy.

Is Vekk still alive?

Ree Soesbee: In GW2? No, I’m afraid not. But as to what happened to him in the end� well, let’s just say physics choked back.

While there are guns in GW2, will characters still have the choice of keeping the primitive weapons like bows?

Eric: Weapon use in Guild Wars 2 is restricted by profession. There are indeed professions that use guns, bows, or both, as well as some professions that can use neither. If a player wants to wield a bow they will certainly have multiple professions to choose from.

What have you learned from GW1 in terms of management of an online community and about how to structure a game in general?

Eric Flannum: After releasing three full games and an expansion, we’ve learned a lot about community management and game structure. For example, one of the things that seemed like a great idea to us when we first started making GW1 was the unified server for all players. On the surface this seems preferable since it allows people the greatest amount of flexibility when playing with their friends. In practice it means that player community is much harder to build. When playing in a world with hundreds of thousands of players you hardly ever encounter the same people on a regular basis (our heavy use of instancing also had a huge effect on this). Some players also use the large number of players as an excuse to act in a rude manner, knowing that they can’t really gain a negative reputation or ever have to be held accountable by the community for their actions. Of course, breaking things into different servers isn’t magically going to make these issues go away or solve all of our problems, but online games are ultimately all about player communities. Anything we can do to foster healthy and active player communities is a big win for us.

Do you intend to make PvP a strong enough game on its own for it to be viewed as a competitive game (E-sport)?

Jon Peters: We’re building our PvP from the ground up as a separate experience. Players will take a character to PvP to retain their name, race, and profession. After that, they will be limited by skill alone. After that, we’ve taken a lot of cues from the first-person shooter genre, to make Guild Wars 2 feel more like an E-sport. Public games will be hot-joinable. We will track player statistics, generate rankings to let players see how they compare to their peers, and hold a variety of tournaments, both large and small, to let the most competitive players duke it out for the bragging rights to be called the best Guild Wars 2 players in the world.

The word “Guild” in the Guild Wars franchise has always suggested the central role guilds would play in the game. As you have stated, Guild Wars 2 will in many ways be improvements to what you wished you could have done in GW1. In this regard, could you tell us what lessons you have learned from GW1? How will guild-related features be different from GW1?

Curtis Johnson: When we made GW1 we knew that guilds and community were essential parts of the online role play experience, so we made it easy to start a guild very early in the game and for players to keep those relationships going by including all their characters in the same guilds.

For Guild Wars 2 we’re keeping that same focus on early connections. We’re making it easy to keep all your characters in one guild, but for GW2 we decided that more friends means more fun, so it will be possible to have different characters in different guilds. We also wanted to give guilds more common purpose, so we’re including guild achievements, and placement in the world including guilds holding keeps in World vs World. We also want to make it easier to stay connected with your guild mates, so we’re introducing features like a guild calendar to make meeting and coordinating across time zones easier, and participating in guild chat from any web browser so you can stay in touch even when you can’t play.

New Equipment
Legendary and Mythical grades of equipment have been introduced to push the upper boundaries of GWO hardware. Better looking gear is all well and good, but sometimes you just need it to better, period.

Level Cap Upgrade
The level cap for characters has been increased to 130. With 10 more levels to improve your character, now you can reach new heights of skill and power.

To accommodate the increased player load expected with the new version, GWO now has two new servers: Heracles for the US zone and Pisces for the European zone. Five Surprises are waiting for players on the new servers to celebrate their grand openings.

If you are a drop of fresh blood in the MMO world, you will find it is not as easy as a single player RPG. Due to the complex interactions with the UI, hostile or friendly players and the general lack of a proper tutorial, many gamers find themselves at a loss upon entering a new online world. At this point, even Never Winter Nights series can be easier to get started. Above all, if you�ve played one MMO before, anyone expecting something they're used to can be completely different when it comes to a new game. Your experience may be completely different. But there are still some who prefer a dash of reality in their fantasy life. That�s why Fallen Earth was born.

This game introduces reality to a virtual world. Getting hurt by a sword once is pretty much crippling if not outright fatal. Fall too far and you don't suffer some uniform amount of damage across your whole body -- you frequently wind up breaking your legs or your spine, and it can be a slow and painful recovery process, if you ever recover.

Fallen Earth has been redesigning its beginner zones to make for a more compelling new player experience. Would you like to act a real person in this new virtual world?

Darkfall

Like Conquer Online and several free to play MMOs, Darkfall has recently offered new player protection. At this point, newbies will not have to worry about being one-shotted from well-armed hostiles. Though only a few hours, this optional choice can help you avoid the game opening gank that just may put you off this FFA PK title.

Considering new gamers have no skills and no real weapons, this strategy will prevent them from feeling frustration and tedium from getting killed in the starting areas when they are only level 1.

“The Crusade in Swallow's Dock”

Dragon Oath players have had a lot of content to look forward to with the expansion Age of Destiny, and perhaps the most highly anticipated event for players were the new quests located in the Swallow's Dock. Swallow's Dock is a new area of the Dragon Oath world where players will get to experience large scale combat on a battleship setting. Sound appealing?

Players are invited to join in the epic fight taking place from boat to boat. If you're level 60 and above in Dragon Oath and have at least 2 fellow players who want to accompany you in this adventure, welcome aboard!

Players' first goal will be to protect the General Leopard Hu. After saving him and defeating the Four Villains, players will escape with the General off of the ship. However, the war is just beginning. Shortly after your escape, you will be notified of an approaching army that includes exploding "Wooden Puppet" soldiers. These soldiers detonate upon being killed, and the explosion will damage surrounding targets. Brave players can attempt to pick up the pieces of wood that the "Wooden Puppets" drop right before they explode, because these pieces of wood can activate support towers that will aid in your battle. If players are successful in defeating the army while also protecting General Leopard Hu, they will proceed to the last and most difficult part of the crusade – a battle with one of the most formidable bosses in all of Dragon Oath, Fu Rong!

If players are able to survive the quest, they will be rewarded with a healthy amount of experience points and some of the rarest items in the game, including new "Transformation" items that will allow transforming into some of the characters in Swallow's Dock for a whole 7 days!

In Digimon Battle, players select a Tamer character, Takato Matsuki, Henry Wong, Rika Nonaka, or Jeri Katou, and set off with their Digimon and human friends, helping their Digimon to progress in their Digivolution. Players and their Digimon level up by winning battles, and players can progress through several ranks of Tamer to achieve elite status. From March 3 to March 16, players who register for the beta, download the client and create their characters will get an exclusive Frontier Starter Kit for being pioneering members of the Digimon Battle community. The Frontier Starter Kit will include valuable tools to help players prepare for the open beta, including 10 Jump Gates to jump to all the maps in the world map, 10 Vigor Floppy Discs to gain 200 VP recovery while in defense mode, and 10 Recovery Floppy Discs to gain 200 HP recovery while in attack mode. The term MMORPG is short for �massively multiplayer online role-playing game�. It has now become a universally known and immensely popular game genre. As statistics show, worldwide revenue from MMORPGs exceeded half a billion dollars in 2005, and Western revenue exceeded US$1 billion in 2006. In 2008, Western consumer spending on subscription MMORPGs grew to $1.4 billion. World of Warcraft, a popular MMORPG, had over 11.5 million subscribers as of December, 2008.

Even so popular in the world, after several years some MMOs still went away due to all kinds of reasons. Nowadays, players become more and more focused on a game�s design, strategy, storyline, balance, visual effects, etc. There is a struggle for older MMORPGs to survive over time, as their game should try its best to meet its new customers� changing tastes and hobbies. But once managed, this MMO can be titled as a classic game because the strong ability to adapt to the current requirements exhibits its superiority and creativity, and will of course win fans worldwide. The following are 8 classic MMORPGs that have managed to survive, and will surely last for a long time yet.

1. EverQuest

Since published on March 16, 1999, EverQuest has just issued its SIXTEENTH expansion, Underfoot, recently.

Everyone has their own lists of what game could be the most vital in the grand scheme of the game industry, but it's pretty impossible to argue that EverQuest doesn't deserve a spot in this list. Till now, it still holds a place near and dear to many people's hearts. More to the point, the impact it had on MMOs as a whole is undeniable.

EverQuest has inspired thousands of people in the genre, including the original sources of the industry's current big success story. Most players play MMOs for a few reasons, be it for the gameplay, graphics, or a vibrant community. Sadly many developers seem to forget about the community, in favor of the almighty dollar. Too many MMOs today decide to let players solo their way without ever grouping. The easiest way to create community in these games is to force them to be a group to survive. But EQ has done a good job. That's the key why EQ is still coming out with expansions 10 years down the road.

2. Ultima Online

Released on September 25th, 1997 Ultima Online was almost the first graphical MMO to hit the general public, it soon became the most popular MMO at that time. Statistics show that UO had made a very big deal to gain 100,000 active players. It is thousands of players online, in a persistent game world that never sleeps.

The strong sense of community and ownership is one of the main reasons why UO has stood the trial of time. In the world of UO, players literally own a piece of land. Those are their houses, their towns, their legacies. As a character, they make their own choices, which in turn will impact those around them. How significant these impacts depend on their wish.

Upon those years, Ultima Online is still being played by tens of thousands of players today.

3. World of Warcraft

Come on! This is the company who made Starcraft, Diablo, Warcraft and many other wonderful games! So, it should be no surprise that World of Warcraft deserves its place on this list. Someone even said that it is WoW that cemented Blizzard as one of the best developers around today. I don�t agree, however WoW could be Blizzard�s masterpiece and have a further impact on the MMO world.

It is so big, that you will meet every kind of player, and they all find something to do in the game whether they are alone or not. There�s an entire industry around trying to one-up WoW, but so far none have succeed. WoW has about 11 million players and makes at least $15/player/month.

4. EVE

Although the most popular MMOs nowadays are in the fantasy genre, there has always existed some small room for sci-fi games. For quite a long time, EVE Online has taken over this space with a steadily growing marketing strategy that now has over 300,000 paying subscribers. It is a brutal gameworld, filled with a kill or being killed mentality, and maneuvered by massive player-run corporations. Jump on the bandwagon and you'll have a blast, but if you try it on your own, you'll soon find it�s not a game for the individual. Perhaps the way to enjoy in EVE is unique enough that no real alternatives exist, or perhaps the target markets of sci-fi and fantasy MMOs have very little common language. Whatever the reason, EVE has been blessed with a relative lack of competition since its release in 2003 and is a really good MMO because all the character building is TIME based, not GRIND based. You are still leveling up while you are afk or even offline.

5. Second Life

Published in 2003, Second Life takes communication to a whole new level. It is a highly imaginative, creative environment based on visual world communication. Playing this game is like stepping into a Dali or Magritte painting in 3D.

Different from traditional computer games, Second Life does not have any rules or systems of traditional games, nor a designated objective. As it does not have any destined quests to complete, it is irrelevant to talk about winning or losing in relation to Second Life. In the mean time, Second Life contains an extensively big world that can be explored and interacted with, and it can be played completely as a creative tool set if the users like to do with it as they wish. These fairly new features make this game classic and long-lasting.

In 2008, Second Life was honored at the 59th Annual Technology & Engineering Emmy Awards for advancing the development of online sites with user-generated content. In January 2010, 18 million accounts were registered, although there are no reliable figures for actual long term consistent usage.

6. RuneScape

Runescape is a simple game that uses an online applet viewer. Coded in Java programming, you don�t even need to download its client. As the best browser MMO these days, RuneScape has both a free and a paid version (and pay 2 play is well worth it, let me tell you) which have attracted millions of devoted fans over these years. Although not as polished as WoW in graphics, Runescape rises to the top of the browser based game arena and rolled over the MMO market completely, even with the flaws that can be found. When Runescape HD was officially coming to a monitor near players on E308, this game had over 1 million subscribers and had been played by over 6 million players worldwide.

7. Conquer Online

MMORPGs are not easy to play for many fresh bloods. Anyone expecting something they're used to is in for a bit of a surprise, even if they've played games of a similar nature in the past. But the free-to-play and Chinese culture based Conquer Online was born to be enjoyed by a full range of players. Conquer Online now has issued a �classic� edition to make its PK system balanced in a dramatically dynamic way. There won�t be any guy who is stronger than you, just because he paid more money! The complex system, rising from the simple origins of tic-tac-toe, ensures that every chosen skill you cast would have a completely different effect on the PvP battlefield. So, look before you leap!

Conquer Online has become a very successful game with its new features and updates. In this year, a completely new class, Monk, will hit Conquer Online in its 7th year with his mighty Zen spells of assistance. Let�s keep an eye on who will push Chinese Kungfu to a new level!

8. City of Heroes

Someone said that City of Heroes blows a super powered gust of fresh air into an increasingly stale sword-and-sorcery MMO world since 2004. As an MMO based on the superhero comic book genre, this game enables players to create super-powered player characters to complete missions and fight bad guys belonging to various factions and organizations in the fictional city. The graphical upgrades promised to come with Going Rogue are also encouraging. As of September 2008, City of Heroes had around 124,939 subscribers in the US & Europe, according to financial reports released by NCsoft in November 2008.

We’ll be updating the official Perfect World blog with spotlights on the specific features in Battle of the Immortals and give you, the players, an in-depth look of what you can look forward to prior to the closed beta.

This week, we’ll be focusing on the mounts, which we touched upon previously on the blog here, but this will be much more in-depth, covering everything from how players can upgrade their mounts to what types of mounts are available.

When is a mount more than just a mount and more of a trusty side kick? When your mount is fully upgradable and levels up side-by-side with your character! One of the unique features in Battle of the Immortals is the variety of different ways your mount can grow and be upgraded. This will not only give you better stats and help you travel throughout the game, but will change in appearance, so that players will see a difference between a level 1 versus a level 2 mount and even greater difference in a level 5 mount.

Pimp My Mount

Depending on the mount, you will have 4-5 levels for your mount to grow up to as you use them. The more you use your mount, the faster it will level. Once your mount hits level 3-4, you will receive a default skill such as sprint, which adds speed, or blink, which allows you to teleport over short distances. At higher levels, you will be able to add customizable skills that can be added in empty slots.

Players will obtain mounts through story progression or via the in-game store. There are some pretty crazy mounts available include some that are multi-player, which means you can transport yourself and your friend at a much faster rate.

Altis Gates, IGG’s latest turn-based fantasy MMORPG, has recently wrapped up its closed beta. While the gates to Altis are now temporarily closed in preparation for the next beta phase, the game made quite an impression on all the brave warriors who explored its wonders. If there’s one feature players can’t get enough of, it has to be shapeshifting.

Champions all across the great expanses of Altis have a chance to obtain Shapeshifting Cards by defeating fearsome monsters that roam the land. Unlike classic horror movies in which characters turned into hideous and savage creatures of the night, the shapeshifting feature in Altis Gates allows players to transform into adorable-looking monsters found in the game.

When players use Shapeshifting Cards, not only will their appearance change, but their characteristics and behaviors in combat will even mimic those of their new forms. For example, when a warrior class character turns into a Skeletal Archer, his attacks will also change from melee to ranged attacks. When characters transform into monsters with massive bodies, like Treants or Snow Demons, they will gain added resilience but suffer a decrease to their agility. Shapeshifting is much more than a mere change in appearance.

Shapeshifting Cards not only provide another dimension of gameplay, they also help players level up faster. After using a card, players will enjoy 10 minutes of double EXP. What’s more, it is stackable with other EXP buff effects. If a player already has a double EXP buff, using a Shapeshifting Card will give them a whopping 4 times their usual EXP gain for 10 minutes. With all these great benefits, it’s no surprise Shapeshifting Cards are among the most sought-after items in Altis Gates.

Overview
In Tales of Fantasy, we have 2 Main C lass D ivisions – Fighters and Spellcasters

Skilled Warriors

Elusive Rogues
The class of choice for vanguards and scouts, the Rogue will advance to either Marksman or Assassin in the future. As a Marksman, no target, however minute or distant, will escape their eagle eyes and deadly accuracy; as an Assassin, no one will see it coming until it's too late.

Powerful Mages
Masters of the elements, these cunning mystics are not to be trifled with lightly. Summoner and Archmage are the final step on the path of a Mage and they both open the door to great power. Summoners rely on their connection with nature to call up powerful, nightmarish beasts to fight for them, while Archmages utilize their vast knowledge of the arcane arts to rain pain and suffering on all who oppose them.

Benevolent Healers
The true heart and soul of a team, no one lasts long in a fierce battle without them. Healers are a fairly straightforward class, healing the wounded and dying, but their importance to the team can never be understated. Healers have a choice to either advance as a Priest, furthering their control of healing magic, or they can choose to follow the very essence of life itself, Nature, by becoming one of the mysterious Druids. Druids can shape-shift at will – either into an agile monkey, an elegant deer, or a sturdy bear.

Closure
Once at Level 20, players will be faced with the choice that will decide their path in life. Once you have decided, visit the relevant NPC in the main city. All paths lead to power, it is up to each player to decide how to wield that power.

When you reach Level 25, the obvious allure of this game becomes apparent as players can then hop on their mount and begin galloping through the land!

Major contents update on March 2nd and various events to attract users

Seoul, February 26 - MMO sports game FreeStyle Street Basketball, serviced at global game portal GameKiss, will launch a big-scale update and special events to celebrate the coming spring of 2010. The fourth major update since the game's commercialization in May 2009 will faithfully reflect users' feedback and provide many benefits to participants.

This big-scale update which will be carried out for three times from March 2nd includes nearly 100 items that will satisfy users' needs. A new decorative item, 16-Level special character slot and a face-customizing item will allow users to express themselves better in more diverse ways. Also, in order to live up to the diverse, fast-changing fashion trend, items that were permanently sold will now be sold during a set period. The price of the items will go down instead, reducing users' financial burden. Among newly added FreeStyle Skills is the "Power Rebound" which has been requested mostly by centers and big guys. The items are expected to become very popular after its release.

The Lelantine Farm Instance was released last week with the newly updated version of GodsWar Online. The focus is on determining which of the two factions has the muscle to accumulate the most points by killing the nasty dogs that have overrun the island before the clock winds down. Here are a few highlights.

No I in Team
Remember that this is the first instance in GodsWar where PvP is strictly prohibited. Whichever faction can come up with the best score will be declared the winning team.

Keep in mind that a good way to win the team extra points is to kill the boss character, the Hell Bulldog. Killing this bulldog will add 1000 points to the scoreboard, but there is only one, so be sure that it is your team that gets it. Moreover, for killing the enemy boss, all members of the team will receive a dazzling title and recognition from the community.

Capture a Loyal Puppy
Another highlight is the Loyal Puppy Reward. Loyal Puppies are set loose at the start of the instance, and they can be captured on the farm using capturing tools. Once a loyal puppy is captured, a loyal puppy egg will automatically be placed in the backpack. The reward will be distributed based on the rank of the puppy traded.

Skill Advancement for Pets
Last but not least, in Lelantine, there is a good chance for players to uncover Level 2 and Level 3 skill books for pets after defeating elite monsters and the enemy boss. It is a great way to make your pet stronger, and in turn, boost the core strength of your team. You can’t lose by participating. Besides, you won’t want to miss out on all the fun!

At first glance, it may seem that Tales of Fantasy is just another MMORPG, a proverbial needle in a 3D haystack. But the distinct Mounted Combat System makes it so different.

Mounted Combat System allows players to ride astride a great beast as they gallop towards glory and adventure. With a vast array of mounts available, and each mount having special attribute bonuses and effects, it won't be long before you find yourself yelling “Hi-yo Silver, away!”

Below are some typical mounts’ information.

Horses
Since ancient times horses have been the primary source of transportation for simple folk and wandering warriors alike. In Tales of Fantasy, there is an extensive variety of horses for players to choose from - from common brown horses to the white steeds of legend. What’s more, these steeds (like the Clouder) even offer an additional +10 HP Recovery when they have a rider mounted on them!

Kirins and Lions
Kirins, being the beast of worship for the Bohren, are sure to bathe their riders in splendor and awe; while the Lions of Ashland add a definite measure of grandeur. These steeds are not simply fashion accessories though, they also contribute to each character’s resistance to the elements, with various breeds offering varying forms of protection (example: The Grove Kirin is resistant to lightning, yet weak against fire).

Tigers and Leopards
Tigers, with their lethal precision with fang and claw, offer superior overall bonuses to their rider’s HP (the Striped Tiger adds 150 HP to the rider’s current max HP, as well as granting Strength and Agility bonuses). When speed is the thing you need, hop on the lightning quick, lithe Leopard – other than the speed bonuses it offers, it also increases hit and evasion rates for the character riding it.

How to Obtain Mounts
Horses, Kirins and Lions are purchasable through Animal Tamers, but Tigers and Leopards are much rarer, and cannot be purchased – though rumor has it that these mounts will be available from Item Mall events in game.

Starting

3.GRAPHIC AND SOUND

To kick things off, I will be honest enough to say that the graphics did not appeal to me at all. I have previously played such similar games with better graphics that it was always running through my mind while playing this one. Of course the graphics are very old, but a small update would not hurt anyone. Despite this, most of the characters actually retain some sort of aesthetic value, especially due to the fact you can customize them entirely, and some of the game maps are creative and very large. As for sound, I am personally indifferent on the matter. I found most the background music alright (very corny at times, though), except it got too repetitive� very fast. I quickly replaced it with my own media library. The sound effects were not very loud or very numbered in my opinion, so they never bothered me as much. All in all, this game truly depends on its gameplay to do it justice. If you do not mind the graphics all that is left for you is to mind the combat style of the game.

Accessories

Accessories are the weapon and the core of your power in Splash Fighters, since when you equip one might take on a completely new and unique set of moves, and they also might change your stats. There are many strong accs some not so much, but in the hands of an experience player, a junk acc might seem godly.
There is currently over 200 accs, a fraction of which is not available in stores, most of these are rare and very strong. Some accs even have gold variation which is stronger then the original. There is a new Acc added every week in the store, sometimes two.
Combine styles and accesorie to become a deadly combination.
*some accessories are rare ( like golden brew,golden banan horse ),you can become them on events .

Maps

Maps are the stages that players fight on. Most are spacious, have different levels and rooms. A lot of which have edges that players can fall off of.In the stage you can find various items.Splashfighter has 20+ maps.In one game you can play max 3 stages(maps)

Items

Items are objects that when picked up, can be used by the player. Most have a special attack that gives it an edge when used against another player. There are items such as bats and golf clubs used for edging, pots used to increase stats/health,and the strongest of the bunch are mounting items, which you can climb on and cause havoc.Many acces have +attacks(that means that some classes can with item do more specials and attack) like soldier with machine gun,and knight with slapfan,leadpipe.

There are about 70 Items more or less, but there is so many different variations and special items that can only be obtained in events that its impossible to count.

Skin Editor

Skin editor is one of the game's most unique feature. Inside, players edit every aspect of their characters appearance, and even morph the hair into interesting shapes. To use the skin they made, players have to spend 5000GM. Of course if they are too lazy to make their own, they can download skins made by pros for about 300B or 3 dollars.
Here you can change skin edit setups, and view actions for skin data being edited.

[A] SAVE FILES

Edited skin data is saved in a special SplashFighters file format (.skin).
Choose a file name and a save location. You can also give saved files to other players, and upload them on the official site's skin board for others to download.

Load saved skin (.skin) files.
Note that all data currently being edited will be replaced with skin file data.

Shows the character skin currently being edited.

I. The Beginning: Nights of the beautiful continent Neha gleamed bright with two moons. Beautiful it maybe, but it was no kind place of humans. And now for a thousand year, The East and The West cultures two distinct civilizations. Ignorant of each others existence. And the knowledge of the seven souls and its keepers forgotten

III. New Age: 1001th year, The East and The West witnessed a heavenly devastations. The smaller moon, Babylon was destroyed, shattered into pieces. The event has changed ocean currents of Neha unveiling a vast sunken territory that bridged The East and The West. For the first time in history, two continents learned about each other. And new lands were to be explored and conquered. New knowledge were to be discovered and exploited.

The inhabitants of Babylon who escaped the destruction moved to Neha introduced stunning technology to people of Neha. The West eager to explore the new lands quickly declared Babylonians as their friends. The East advanced in astrology and magic took destruction of a Babylon as an ill omen and kept to their traditions.

Seven Souls Online (SSO) consists of a number of unique battle fields that allow the person to grasp onto a range of enemies and scenarios. Information regarding the battlegrounds (or dungeons) include the following characteristics;
- Special maps that open periodically
- enabling random PvP or PvE missions
- User can participate from any place
- Available for all character level

We can confirm that the game will consist of PK (Player Killing) system, as well as siege war and regional wars between guilds. Various advantages for the winning party include, buffs and gold. In addition to the siege war system, the game also includes a guild mercenary feature. We can confirm that the game, Seven Souls, contains a range of quests integrated with a cohesive scenario. Players can also engage in special quest that are designed for specific classes. Each quest contains an exclusive story, objective, difficulty and rewards. Quests can also be considered part of the game story or tutorial based, normal, item based or repetitive quests that allow characters to develop further.

In Seven Souls players can form a guild, party and establish their own friends list. Players have the ability to also customize their chat channels. During the early stages of the game (Lv1-25 (Beginner Class)) players are engaged with a range of beginner class items, tutorials and basic quests. During the beginning class period individuals can also use the pet system, jackpot features and other gambling games, along with weapon specialization features and upgrades. During the Intermediate phase (Lv26-49) players begin to experience more in depth quests and can also experience the field dungeons. From lv26 you can also engage in PK combat, raids, guilds and other community based systems and finally a range of additional professions (i.e. crafting and production). As a player reaches the peak (Lv50+) they begin to experience more siege wars and guild based regional battles including instances.

Overall, players are able to experience dynamic and realistic action, elaborate effects and a smart skill system. Players can also experience unlimited item upgrades and enchantments, as well as no level limits. After entering the closed beta a few days ago, I can successfully say that this game will do quite well in the Western markets. For a free2play title, the game displays some wonderful graphics and some exciting quests. Gaining experience occurs through fighting monsters and completing a range of common quests (i.e. kill X amount of monsters or deliver X item to a certain NPC). In my opinion the game is heavily grind orientated, so you will be spending some time leveling your character(s) individually or in parties. The range of classes make grouping somewhat enjoyable, however it takes a few levels before you start to experience some interesting class skills.

The economy is somewhat stable, but it is to early to assess since the game is still in closed beta. I have not yet experienced any mounts or traveling based items, so for most of the time I have been walking to my quest locations (which takes some time). Early on monsters become quite aggressive, so you will find that at level 6-7 you will be entering fields that can become quite dangerous (i.e. running with 10 monsters chasing you). Personally, I think this aspect should be adjusted in game so that players can enjoy a range of fields. Items and gold are automatically deposited into your inventory, so you don't have to go around picking everything up (which is a major relief). The drop rate in-game is fair, but so far I have not found any valuable gear from any monsters. In most games, purchasing items from an NPC becomes a common task, however prices for some of the gears can be quite high. Overall, the game looks like it will do very well in the Western markets, if you have some spare time do give it ago (client size: ~450 MB).

With the recent release of Wonderland Online's (http://wl.igg.com) new version 5.0, a brand new map was added for players to explore. This new map – Rome, allows players to explore the amazing architecture and culture of Ancient Rome. Within this new map are many secrets waiting to be discovered, including one of the most interesting quests Wonderland has offered to date – Golden Treasure.

No doubt the name alone would be reason enough to give this quest a try, but it's the unpredictability that keeps bringing players back for more. Once players walk through the cave entrance, they will be placed at the beginning of a randomly generated maze that will be different every time you walk through the front door. Once inside, there is no other choice but to attempt to navigate your way through, as even the entrance will be removed. Solve the puzzle and players will be rewarded with some amazing treasure – if they don't go mad in the twisting tunnels!

When looking for inspiration, the Wonderland design team said they had studied a popular game from the Renaissance game The Wonderland Online team said that this quest was inspired by an interesting game from the Renaissance. Can you guess?

Tips for Passing Golden Treasure Quest
Theoretically, with the proper strategy, challengers have a good chance of completing the quest. Challenging the twists and turns will always prove difficult, but the WLO team came up with this strategy: when you come to a crossing, turn to the left first and then go up (turn right), at the next crossing turn left 3 times, and then up again. They say that this strategy has had the best success in finding the Golden Treasure - but they do admit that a few of their testers are still wandering around out there somewhere, so it's not guaranteed. What they know for sure is that, whether you find the treasure or not, you're definitely going to have some fun!

As promised last week in our Soul Gear Preview article, this week we're offering you guys a preview of mounts and pets.

The mount system in Battle of the Immortals is really quite unique. In a lot of current MMORPGs, players can upgrade their mount in order to increase its speed. In BoI, upgrading your mount not only increases its speed, but changes the way it looks as well as allowing your mount to learn skills!

Check out the Magi riding the mount below to get a better idea of what we mean.

Not only does this mount gain a more aggressive look from upgrading, but it also gains the ability to blink as well as sprint. Let's not forget that its base speed increases each time you upgrade it!

Mounts aren't the only form of companion you'll be able to bring along with you during your journeys in BoI. Combat Pets are a key component of BoI.

As you fight the denizens of the world, every now and then you'll have the opportunity to tame a monster that you kill. This means that almost any monster you encounter in BoI can be a potential pet.

As your pet levels up you'll be able to distribute their attribute points any way you choose, allowing you to customize the evolution of your pet. In addition to that, you'll be able to slot skills into your pet as you see fit. Want to make your pet more PvP oriented? Then slot your pet with a movement debuff and snare your enemies. Want to make orient your pet towards PvE? Then slot your pet with an ability that will block the next four attacks.

The mount and pet systems of BoI are incredibly complex, and allow you to fully customize your gaming experience.

Crossfire is the best and original online FPS game for me, with awesome & new features like the ghost mode. You can play the Ghost, and scare your enemies with your breath, or you can play the Global Risk team, and shoot into the darkness, trying to hear the footsteps and breath.

Ghost mode is not the only awesome feature in Crossfire game. You can also play classic Team Deathmatch, or Elimination (where you can try nearly all weapons in game), but my favorite one is the Search & Destroy type of the game. You have to have tactics and strategies, and have to work as a team to win.

Seoul, February 3 – Global game portal GameKiss announced that shoot’em up MMO Valkyrie Sky will release an update that adds the hard mode system and will increase the level cap in the game on Feb. 3.

The newly updated hard mode system will intensively demonstrate that control skills are the most important unlike in other MMORPG games in which gamers’ levels and equipment equal the ability. Users who have cleared the normal stage will be given one chance a day to fight in the hard mode. A Staff Main is a Multi-purpose Main can be for offense and defense.that excels at AOE abilities and healing. In PVP, she is unrivaled in AOE (Area of Effect or Mass Assault) damage. In PVE, she is one of the fastest leveling mains in the game before the Power saw was introduced. A Staff Main has eight different skills at her disposal, with one of them unlocked after the lvl 100 upgrade. Her skills give her a wide range of abilities to either help her team or hurt her foes.

Brief Description:

“Your foes may scoff at your low vitality and defensive level, but as a mage you have the ability to master a wide variety of spells. You can also equip an [Orb], which increases your Attack Power and Intelligence. In your later levels, you truly become a force to be reckoned with. You replenish your allies’ vitality with [Blessing of Life] magic, and can learn the powerfull [Brutal Will] spell to increase your mercenaries’ attack power.”

Skills:

The Staff Main shares skills with her Shaman counterpart, but she has several unique abilities that only she manifests. First, we will cover her and the shaman’s shared abilities.

Brutal Will
*A skill that makes a row go berserk. Mercs affected by it gain an attack power, multi-hit rate, and action power regen buff. However, you also lose control of mercs affected by this skill and the affected mercs take damage every turn. Brutal Will is generally not raised because there are more useful skills that the Main can learn.*

Hex of Darkness
*Causes a DOT(Damage over Time) and debuff on the enemy. The debuff decreases maximum HP for the duration of the DOT. If this skill is cast on a target affected by the Swordsman’s Dark Seed, then the Hell Flame combo will trigger, which is like a super Hex of Darkness. This skill usually isn’t leveled because it is only really useful when a Swordsman will be kept for you entire Atlantica career*. Even then, there are better skills to have.

Noble Sacrifice
*Sacrifice skill that heals your team. Needs the caster to be at 30% health to work. Worthless on a Main because, if the main dies, then you lose. Never level this skill on your aStaff Main.*

Blessing of Life
*Very good skill. The first healing ability you’ll ever have. Starts off targeting only one merc, but becomes a row target at lvl 20. The only time you’ll ever find a better heal is at lvl 76, when you recruit an Oracle. Level this skill if you don’t plan to have a Shaman. Even if you do have a shaman, it’s good to put 1 point here as a precaution for emergencies.*

That’s all of the shared skills. Next are the Main-Characters-Only skills.

Guard Dispel
*A decent skill for PVP. It destroys the Holy Guard status on the front-most row. Situational use only because it does no damage at all and has no other effects. Only 1 point is needed, because charms will give this skill 100% accuracy.*

Mana Shield
*Good, old Mana Shield. It has saved many a Staff Mains’ butt in combat. Whenever a physical attack hits the Staff Main, she’ll automatically recover HP at the cost of her Mana. It only heals the first hit, not the combo hits. In PVE, this is always active unless disabled in the skill window. In PVP, the Shield will only trigger at a set percentage rate. Higher skill lvls means a high rate of activation in PVP, bigger heals in both PVE and PVP, and larger Mana useage. However, be careful with this skill in PVE. It’ll quickly deplete your Mana stores and leave you drained.*

Evanescent Scud
*Your first and only AOE skill for the first 100 lvls as a Staff. This skill does a great deal of damage, killing or severely weakening mobs in PVE until lvl 95~. It casts quickly, so it is the primary PVE AOE skill of choice. Pretty much ALLStaff mains max this because it is their primary lvling and attack skill for the first 100 lvls. It is also teh primary reason to be a Staff main in the first place.*

Flame Blow
*Your lvl 100 skill. It is an even stronger AOE than Scud, but it takes longer to cast. It also carries a Fire element tag, so Fire resistant monsters and Shield+Sword mercs take reduceddamage. While the listed damage is low, it does 2 quick successive hits of that low damage. That means, the listed damage of 1.6k is really 3.2k total damage . The second hit happens immediately on the next enemy turn. While Scud is better for quick PVE fights, Flame Blow is better in 2v1 situations.*

CrossFire Review

CrossFire is a fairly new competitor in the online FPS franchise, and as such, there is much to do. However, it separates itself from the competition with fantastic game modes and an incredible variety of maps, weapons and customizable character options, all of which grow with each and every update. This is easily comparable with other great online FPS games, and the best part is, this one is free.

Graphics: 8/10

The graphics of the maps are fantastic, and no two maps look alike at all, showing the care the designers put into making them. The characters don't look terrible, but they aren't mind-blowing either. Personally, I prefer having not-so-great graphics in an online FPS, as they lower system requirements and, most importantly, latency. There are a few graphical issues I have encountered over my two years of playing, but they have either been patched or are so infrequently activated that they really don't distract from the gameplay at all. If you want fantastic graphics and nothing else, this isn't the game for you. However, the textures and models are done very nicely, and there are no major glitches in the graphics.

Sound/Music: 7.5/10

In my opinion, this is where CrossFire comes short. The music and sound is very lacking. Each gun has its own unique sound, a very nice feature, and you can give your teammates commands or compliments which they will hear, also very nice. However, they can quickly get annoying. Thankfully, you can turn the sound and music off if you get that annoyed with them. I'm not saying the music and sound is horrible, but chances are you'll want to mute the music and sound and play your music in your preferred media player of choice while playing the game. Doing so will not create additional lag and won't slow the game up at all.

Controls/Customizable Options: 9.5/10

As is typical in a F2P PC FPS, you have fully customizable keyboard controls. However, CrossFire also features resolution changes and screen brightness changing, both rarities in any game I come across. You can also customize your in-game character, for a cost of some GP (in game currency) or ZP (Z8 points, purchased at the game's hosting site, Z8games). Some items even grant EXP and GP bonuses. A slightly disappointing factor of this game is that you can't customize the guns you purchase; once you buy them, that's as good as they will get. It adds simplicity, making the UI much easier to navigate, but for a hardcore gamer like myself, I would prefer to see a bit of customizable options, like an ability to mount scopes or add armor-piercing bullets or something along those lines. It's a minor and only a personal complaint of mine, and the game plays fantastically without those options regardless.

Gameplay: 10/10

The gameplay is where this game truly shines. This game has the most fluent, action-packed, well-designed shooting of any PC shooter I've come across, and I've come across many. The backstory behind the game involves the BL and the GR. There's the typical Team Deathmatch mode, but on top of that, there is Search and Destroy, Elimination, and, my personal favorite, Ghost Mode. Team Deathmatch is the same as in every other game, but you can choose to make sniper, pistol or knife-only matches, which keeps the game incredibly entertaining. Search and Destroy is what you would expect; one team tries to plant a bomb in the designated areas, while the other team attempts to stop them. Elimination and Ghost Mode are unique to CrossFire, and both are incredibly fun. In Elimination, you must pick up guns and then lay waste to the enemy party. It's a great way to try out guns before purchasing them for use in TDM and S&D, and it's the ultimate way to have beginners and pro's level in terms of gun quality. In Ghost Mode, you can choose to either be ghosts (BL) or defenders (GR). The mission for the ghosts is to plant a bomb a la S&D. The defenders are trying to disarm the bomb or kill all the ghosts. Since the ghosts can't be seen when they aren't moving, and have a bare flicker when moving, they can only use knives. However, the ghosts breathe quite heavily, and good defenders will take advantage of this. As a ghost, you have to be leery and always on the move as stealthily as possible to avoid detection.

Now, the guns. There is a massive selection of guns in this game. Over 40 to choose from, many available at the beginning of the game, and almost all of them unlocked within an hour of playing. There is no major difference between any gun, as they can all be used very effectively with proper strategies. There are even advanced guns, which you can attempt to get by spending some GP or ZP on crates you get from the Black Market.

Most importantly to any online shooter/game in general, this game does not lag at all. There is very little lag from player to player. This fact alone makes this one of the best shooters I've ever played, and one of the shooters I've kept playing since I discovered it.

Replay Value: 10/10

Once you begin to play, you will not be able to stop. CrossFire is a massively addicting game which, as of now, this reviewer has yet to grow tired of it. With four game modes, over 20 maps, over 40 guns, and tons of character customizability, there is almost no way to get bored of this game.

Overall/tl;dr: 9/10

This is a fantastic online FPS for anyone looking for a challenge or just to get into the FPS genre. For being a free to play, this is by far one of the best available options for any gamer with a decent computer and online connection. I highly recommend this game for anyone of any skill level who enjoys playing shooters.

... and i'd just like to share it. turn-based mmo's don't actually appeal to people so i think it's really helpful to read this developer's journal by atlantica online.

so the point is that just because it's turn-based and it gives you idle time while the monsters attack, doesn't mean that it's an easy-schmeezy kind of game. the developers actually put some challenge into it and for AtO, it's the following:

*time limit: 30seconds isn't actually that long to attack all the monsters and use all your mercenaries skills. especially if the monster has a particularly high defense.

*action power: every character has this status detail which tells the user how many times that certain character can attack. even if all the action power of your party is high, only a maximum of five mercenaries can attack in a single turn thus utilizing the use of strategies in choosing the right mercenary to attack.

*formation: strategy not only lies on which mercenary to use but also in what formation should they be used.

i think it's cool that atlantica online wrote the developers journal to enlighten us more about the turn-based battle system they have so that people would have something more to say than compare it to the battle system of final fantasy.

Dragonica launches a brand new dungeon - The Temple of Water

New monsters, weapons and zones await Dragonica players across Europe

Dublin, Ireland, 1st February – Dragonica, the free manga-style online action game from the gPotato.eu games portal, is proud to announce that a brand new dungeon will be launched for low level players – The Temple of Water.

On February 4th 2010, the European versions of Dragonica will launch the brand new Temple of Water, accessible to all players and aimed at levels 26 – 30. And if that is not enough, we’d like to inform our players that only a couple of weeks after the opening of the Temple of Water, we will reopen the Drakos Dungeon, aimed at characters between levels 58 – 65.

The Temple of Water has been well known to the inhabitants of the great city of Port of the Winds for many centuries. Recently, the once benevolent Water Spirit “Endairon” cut all communication with the diplomatic leaders of the Dragon Fellowship, and strange aquatic creatures have been spotted emerging from the great Water Temple. The concerned Lord Steven has requested that all hardy and adventurous players should investigate the strange goings on and help the citizens of Port of the Winds to cleanse the temple of evil.

It is not yet known if the events that led to the disappearance of the Drakos Dungeon caused the Water Spirits in the Temple of Water to go mad, and soon players will again need to investigate the Drakos Dungeon to find out what has happened to its already strange inhabitants.

Cloud Burst gathers the water vapor from vast clouds to create a sudden burst of energy that increases the caster’s critical strike chance.

Shining Skills for Fighters
Revolving Swords is a short-range AOE ability. Swords begin swirling from every direction around the caster, slashing enemies nearby and possibly slowing their attack speed. wage secret proxy wars on their opposition. This trend gave the founders of both Global Risk and Black List the resources to recruit former members of special operations forces from around the globe to establish their respective mercenary organizations. Now firmly entrenched in positions of extreme power and influence, the battles of these two warring factions will shape the future of the world.

Black List is a secretive mercenary organization that advocates the use of violence to halt the spread of corporate capitalism and globalization. They claim that current world powers have used aggressive foreign policy to maintain modern empires, and will use any means necessary to combat their expansion.

Today the official team of GodsWar Online announce that a new system called Class Transition System will be available from 3:00am EST (GMT-5) on January 28th. Along with that, GodsWar client has been updated to V1.0.297.

Transition System Introduction:
The Transition System gives players the chance for a brand new start, but not a blank slate. The Exp and Level in your original class are transferred to your new class, where new fancy titles, skills and spells await exploration.

The best time to take advantage of this system is below Level 100, as those that are over require some special items. So if you're lower than 100, then take your time and decide which class seems best for you, and if it doesn't work out, then move on to another.

After successful transition you would obtain:
Skills: Your old class skills will be frozen when you embark on your adventures in your new class, so don't expect to bring them with you. For your new class skills, you may need to visit the Skill Merchant to purchase skill books, so be prepared for this.

Talent: Skills from your old class will be returned to you as talent points to be spent on your new class skills as you like. If all of the skills in your old class have been maxed out at Level 40, then we will give you a set of new Level 40 skills, and our respect for your devotion.

Equipment: You must visit the corresponding NPCs to have your equipment switched and fitted to your new class, with the same level, grade and added attributes.

Compared to most single-player video games, online games, especially MMOs, have a much longer life expectancy. The interaction and competition among the community can provide MMO players with sustainable pleasures. Thus, many MMOs remain popular for years, even under today�s competitive game market where new games are popping up daily.

However, players always go bored after repeating the same thing for some time, even for the most successful MMO. So it is conventional for developers to add new content regularly, so as to prevent their players from burning out. Conquer Online, the most successful Chinese style MMO, is a good example. Released in 2003, this free MMO has renowned success with 7 language versions and millions of players in the worldwide market. As six years have passed, many different features and sources have been added to update Conquer Online into the more modern version, Conquer Online 2.0. However, the side effects of those updates have become more and more clear. Many veterans have been complaining the game has become too different from their cherished �good old days�, and they started to appeal to TQ Digital to bring back the original version of Conquer Online. This idea spread fast, and had taken root among more of the mainstream CO players. After some railing from the community, TQ decided to release what they called �Classic CO�, which is a combination of the current 2.0 client and earlier gameplay.

The first Classic CO server was released in Nov. 2009, and the players� response proved the developer had made a wise move, as the server was just chock full of players. Inspired by the success of the 1st Classic CO server, TQ has opened the 2nd server after 10 days, and the 3rd one is set to open on Jan 21, 2010. So what exactly is Classic CO? Does it live up to the mantle of the Good Old Days? In this review, you may find out the answer.

The Shopping Mall is gone!

The foremost change of Classic CO is the removal of the Shopping Mall. For a free MMO, the cash shop is a common, but critical feature, as it is the only way that the game developer can earn money from the game. And it is the same in Conquer Online. Now in CO 2.0�s Shopping Mall, one can easily find everything necessary to make a newbie into a superman if you would like to pay the cash. And many fevered players would like to spend tons of money on this PvP-oriented MMO, just for the pleasure of slaughtering their opponents on the battleground. However, the flaw is also very apparent, as big spenders can purchase uber gear and become some crazy powerhouse overnight, destroying game balance with their bottomless wallets.

In the Classic servers, the Shopping Mall was removed, and with it the ability to just buy your way to the top. Meanwhile, Classic CO only preserves a few quests in which pay users can consume their cash in-game, such as Lottery and Gear Quality Upgrades. But this type of quest is well controlled, which makes sure pay users cannot gain excessive advantages in Classic CO. This forces players to get back into the game. It is quite difficult for players to get good gear without hunting. Not everybody can obtain insane super +12 gear now.

Thus, without the buyable gear, here come the classic and balanced classes. You can work more as a team with your friends or guild mates to take out the stronger enemies you�ll come across. Each class has his own distinct purpose in the fight, and you�ll do well to learn your role on the battlefield! There is no critical weapon that makes a poor strategy to win!

Talismans� Battle Power.. All gone.

Apart from the Shopping Mall, Classic CO also removed 2 major features of CO 2.0, Battle Power and Talismans. Many comments suggested that CO�s success is due to its PvP system as well as its vivid Chinese cultural background. Compared to most MMOs published in the same era, players found CO�s PvP system was very unique, with which one should focus on skill and control while not solely level and gear. Until Battle Power (formerly called Potency) was added to Conquer in 2007, players started to find the original PvP gameplay was changing, and heading into the opposite direction they wanted.

Battle Power is a calculation of the character�s overall attributes, like level, gear, social status etc, and is the key for anyone to become a winner in any PK field. For example, it is nigh impossible for a 180 BP player to defeat 185 BP players, even if he has more PvP skill. Talismen, added to CO 2.0 later, amplified the effect of Battle Power, as high grade Talismans not only improve the character�s attack and defense, but significantly enhance their Battle Power. As a result, many old players find they never have a chance to PK or join in the Guildwar without good Talismen in CO 2.0, and just pop by Paypal and hit the Mall to buy whatever they needed to improve their Battle Power, or buy that high grade Fan/Tower.

In Classic CO, Battle Power and Talismans are taken out, at the insistence of the community. Players can focus more on HOW to fight, and not just about how much. It all depends on your strategy, not some numbers tallied by a computer or bulk-built Talismen. In truth, balanced PK in Classic CO is dramatically dynamic. You don�t need to check Battle Power and will find no bevy of unkillable players, but a complex system rising from the simple origins of tic-tac-toe. Each battle will also be different depending on your opponent�s chosen skills, so it�s never the same fight twice. And it is exactly what CO�s veterans miss about the good old days.

Ninja Skill has been tweaked
Another major change in Classic CO is that the controversial Ninja skill Toxic Fog is removed. In 2008�s New Dynasty expansion, the new class Ninja descended in the world of Conquer Online. As war brings good business to a trained assassin, the current state of the lands of Conquer Online allows the Ninja to thrive. From a gameplay point of view, as well as a PvP oriented game, the damage dealers are the most desirable classes for players. With its powerful skills and flowery design, the Ninja helped bring CO a significant influx of new players.

But not long after the ninja�s release, the community started to discover that the skill Toxic Fog makes these masked warriors far more powerful than most felt was natural for the game. For example, if you are poisoned by Toxic Fog, no matter how tough you are, you would continuously lose half your current HP, until it falls to 1. There�s nothing like getting fogged and hiding, only to have a random noob poke you for 1, which definitely made collateral damage more likely when you PK, especially around the cities.

Although most players admit the skill is overpowered, many non-pay players insist that the skill should not be tweaked as it is an effective resort against bulkers with high grade gear. As there is no Shopping Mall in Classic CO, TQ removed the Toxic Fog from the Ninja class and veterans can again enjoy the battle royale without the tease of that annoying green smoke.

Other changes
In Classic CO, players are also unable to utilize DragonBalls to socket non-weapon gear or directly level their characters. Meanwhile, gems are much easier to drop from monsters. All these modifications aim to make players get back the original feeling of Conquer Online. Back to the good old days of grinding to promote your character, not just bulking to build an unstoppable juggernaut.

Conclusion

New stuff does refresh the original content and keep the community vibrant in most cases, but more is not always better. After years of �updates�, old players may find their cherished MMO has become a completely different game, and then people leave�

So maybe it�s time for developers to stop filling their games with excessive new content, and try to help get back the original flavor of what made people want to play the game. Classic CO has made a great example for other aged MMOs. Nostalgic veterans, welcome home.

After the mad dash through the short but eventful 3 day Alpha Test, Altis Gates (http://ag.igg.com) is now gearing up for their Closed Beta. The time has been set, and the Altis Gates Closed Beta will begin at 8:00pm EST (GMT-5) on February 2nd, 2010!

The CB will end at 10:00pm EST (GMT-5) on February 11th, 2010, which means a whopping 10 days of fun awaits everyone involved! However, all account data and characters created, including those retained from the AT will be gone at the end of the CB.

The main difference between the AT and then upcoming CB is that the CB will be much less exclusive and activation keys should be much easier to come by. There are several different routes players can go to pick one up, so if you missed the AT, be sure you don't miss out on the CB. Various media sites will be offering keys, and players can also pick one up from one of the many events we have planned. Just remember that these keys are free, so dont buy one on eBay, just head on over to our main site and forums and enter to win one!

If you were one of the lucky ones to grab a key to the AT, then you don't need to worry about competing for another one for the CB, you're already in! All account information from the AT has been kept for the CB, so just log in when the CB starts and start having fun!

If you've already installed the game for the AT, you can simply run the game and then upgrade to the CB client version automatically. For new players joining the CB, you can obtain the game client here.

IGG’s latest magical offering, Altis Gates (http://ag.igg.com), recently closed the curtains on their short Alpha Test, to much applause. Both the representatives of media sites and the veteran players that were specially invited had a lot of positive feedback for the Altis Gates team. With the AT concluded, their attention is now focused on the Closed Beta test, specifically the big guilds that will provide the intense competition that this new title thrives on.

Guild recruitment has started on January 25th, 2010, EST (GMT-5) and will continue through till February 11th. Throughout this period, the Altis Gates team will be encouraging guild leaders to submit applications for CB activation keys. During the CB itself, all the guilds will be ranked according to the sum of the character levels of all their members. This ranking table will be refreshed every 4 days, and at the end of the CB, the top ranked guilds will be rewarded with some fancy prizes for the Open Beta test.

The rewards for the top 10 guilds will be large Guild Bundles that can be redeemed when the OB starts. Each member of the winning guilds will receive 5 Treasure Maps, 2 Power Crystals and 2 Crystals of Attack. The higher the final ranking of the guild, the better the items! Our Forum volunteer Kevin has been one of the 36 lucky players who have been chosen by the ChangYou team to enter Dragon Oath’s upcoming expansion Age of Destiny before the official launch, earlier than anyone else. He brings us this in-depth preview. Check out what he thinks of Age of Destiny!

I played the new Dragon Oath expansion and it seems pretty chill. They really added a lot of content this time around which was surprising, I was constantly busy with all of the new quests and events going on. The best things about the new expansion, in my opinion are the Artifact Weapons. It feels awesome to have an immensely powerful weapon that looks cool at the same time. It’s also nice that they added multiple ways to get those weapons, so that it doesn’t boil down to a dogpile of people trying to do the same quests.

The Yan Tomb instance is really challenging, but really rewarding at the same time. It’s like 9 levels deep with tons and TONS of enemies to mow through on your way to the final boss. In addition to those enemies, there’s a mini boss on each stage that blocks you from getting to the next level. Fighting King Yan himself is a grueling task that really requires you to be on your toes the entire fight. Not to mention the fact that your group has to be well equipped to deal with such a powerful boss. All in all, it was one of the best dungeons that I’ve ever played through in ANY game.

I spent a little time in that Ice Space zone and I think it’s a really cool idea that should be implemented into more games. It’s just a mellow zone where you can go to collect experience. Sometimes players want to get their consistent experience, but relax a bit at the same time. This was made for those people (myself included) and I definitely approve. The amount of money that you have to pay to get in is pretty fair too (I think it’s like 3 Gold), so you don’t really get robbed of your funds too badly.

I’ve always been a bit fan of PVP, so I decided to do the Arena Chest event one day and it turned out to be a lot of fun. All I had to do was group up with a few people and then we hopped right into the PVP zone. Once inside, I was shocked at how quickly I was thrown into an all out fight for my life. Tons of people were fighting it out for the huge treasure chest in the Arena and it eventually became a scramble to see who could stand next to the chest and defend it the longest. Honestly, doing that event was a breath of fresh air for a PVP enthusiast such as myself. Far too often, people are put in PVP situations where they’re expected to just mindlessly fight it out over nothing. It’s cool to finally see an objective that isn’t just “kill those guys”.

The coolest quest that I took part in was the Swallow’s Dock series. When I hopped into this quest I felt like I was taking part in an epic movie battle. Hopping from boat to boat in a race to protect a high ranking military soldier, scrambling to intercept bandits while fortifying defense structures, fighting off warlords with devastating magic attacks, this quest has it ALL. Even though the quest itself is challenging to complete, you never stop having fun, which is what makes it awesome in my opinion.

Overall, this new Dragon Oath content is gonna make a lot of players very happy. I think that these new editions are definitely something that will keep the veteran players engaged and bring in a lot of new players at the same time. It’s been quite awhile since I’ve spent a long time on a F2P MMO, but I’m having such a good time with Dragon oath that I really don’t even notice how quickly time is flying by. I encourage everyone to try this stuff out, it’s definitely worth it.

Like all potent brews, moderation is encouraged; this one is limited to designated times and and for short periods. However, moderation hasn't watered down the action in this server, as each battlefield championship is divided into 3 sections that include the Chaos Argent Fights, Dungeon Wars and Guild Wars.

Starting with the appropriately named Chaos Argent Fights, two factions, each representing the players from a specific server, will have at it for control of Argent City Pool and the 2 credits that go along with victory. It can be chaotic as players fight to the death for glory and honor, but would they have it any other way?

The Dungeon War is actually the only one that deserves a better name. 'Dungeon' doesn't even begin to describe the hellish nightmare players face down in the depths of the Demonic World instance. Magma spews, and shadows play as the two opposing factions again cross blades, but this time, they face off with a mammoth Black Dragon roaming the battlefield picking off the stragglers. With each side trying desperately to either save the 3 designated buildings, or destroy them, while also trying to avoid the hungry jaws of a dragon, its not long before these pirates are longing for the ease of dealing with a hurricane on the high seas. Whoever has the fortitude to come out on top picks up 3 credits for their server, and something better than a T-shirt reading "I survived the Demonic World".

The most popular, and the one with the most friendly and inviting name would have to be Guild Wars. Sign up and registration are relatively straightforward, and are handled by one of ToP's capable GMs. Opposing guilds are created, and are made up of the usual team of players representing different servers, then...this is where all hell breaks loose. After registration is complete and players have been put into teams, the GM leaves and players are free to go at it, with no rules or limitations imposed. Needless to say, its been the most popular among the 3 sections.

After all the sections have been completed, the winning server is announced and the players from that server are awarded their prizes, including a specially designed apparel set unique to this event ?the Night Deity Robe. Although this and other prizes can be quite lucrative, it seems that the most valuable commodity changing hands after this event is bragging rights.

AVATAR has been compared with WOW ever since it was released. You know what? I just found another similar game! When u first reach alker Harbor you should and go see LUNA, set your identification and once ur identification has been set u can start dating. The identification contains your Age, Sex, Location, what you like and what you dont. When u click for search partner a list will be generated as close to ur character as possible. You can only date people from the opposite sex.
TO DD you have to:
1. Party for you and her or him
2. look for her or him on Date
3. the Partys leader press lets go out
4. choose level

When someone is really compatible a heart appears over your head and hers or his.

FISHING
1. go to farm REgion
2. buy bait and a fishing rod
3. go to a fishing spot
4. active the fishing skill

5. put the bait on the square for the bait
6. change your weapon for the fishing rod
7. Start fishing

The weather has to do with what you can get on fishing.
The fishing Spot has to do with what you can get too.

FARMING
1.You have to have seeds.
2. go to the Material merchant on alker harbor
3. but fertilizers and harvesters

4. Go to your farm, click over your spot then open your inventory and double click the seed.
5. when the life of the seeds goes down you have to use the fertilizer for it to grow.

6.To watch the process of your seed, you have to press F
7. then farm

You can only farm when your leader has bought a farm, the leader has to be in lvl 50 and have a lot of money to buy one. NOt sure about the price.

ENCHANT
1.You have to have Enchant protection scroll and equipment scroll(enchant scroll: weapon, accessorie or armor).

2.Press S and go to Action tab and look for ~Enchant command.

3.Then placed the armor, weapon or acessorie and scroll into the slot
4.press enchant
5.nOw your weapon is +1. Now the tricky part begin, click the Enchant protection scroll. The reason we use the enchant protection is because after the +1 theres a chance of failure that means that if the enchant fails, you lose your enchant scrolls and your weapon or armor.
6. then place the weapon and scroll and then press the Enchant

TIPS
Tips 1 : Enchant protection scroll sold in Tasartia only available to use until your equipment is +7, to make it + more than 7 u need Lost Ancient Scroll or Blessed Pukerian Scroll or Wizard's Scroll.

Tips 2 : If you didnt enchant with Enchant protection scroll, there is a possibilities that your equipment will be lost due to failed in enchanting.

Tips 3 : Enchant somewhere else instead of Tasartia to prevent lagness.

Tips 4 : Max enchantment is +15

Tips 5 : Remember to always look for equipment level before buying the scrolls.

Tips 6 : Only weapon can glow, and the glow depend on enchant level.

Free Online Game Portal GameKiss announced that the FreeStyle Street Basketball Game donated on Jan. 15 the game points collected from last holiday events to the Haiti relief fund.

FreeStyle Street Basketball Game had hosted a supporting event called "Help the world with FreeStyle" to celebrate the holiday season between Dec. 16 to Jan. 6. The event was to support the youth by gamers' collecting game points -- something more worthwhile than the simple competition and fun.

During the <Help the world with FreeStyle support event>, a total of 301,000 points had been accumulated by 164 participants. This is calculated into $3,010 in cash. The sum was supposed to be used for the Unicef's general relief activities, but when the earthquake wreck a havoc in Haiti, it was decided that the fund was to be transferred to Unicef's emergency relief activities in Haiti. The fund was donated to Unicef on Jan. 15.

it would be best to save your GP untill you get to Staff SGT and you would have in total est 60k GP.
you could buy multiple weapons before you get to that rank. -the lowest is no rank the highest is the AWM (arctic warfare magnum) similar to AWP in CS.

crossfire does give you starter weapons and two bags with a primary weapon slot, secondary weapon slot, grenade slot and mellee weapon, they give you an m16 witch in some games is a decent gun eg COD and a starter two hit kill (unless head) sniper m700 (they do not give full names i think its m16a1).

if get enough money and could afford weapons such as scar light (probably easiest rifle to use) and awm if you like to snipe ( 1 hit body shot), the best pistol is probably desert eagle but there is another option the anaconda which is decent for a quick switch instead of reloading, mellee weapons you get a knife and you can choose to buy a shovel (extremely long like longer then your characters body) or combat axe (decent mellee wep).

there is also an option to buy "black market" crates like on other games eg CA (combat arms) there is GP and ZP (better stuff in crates) but it is a waist of money since its very slim in winning something but you never know. there is something called coupons where you can buy weapons (coupons are won in crates)

GP is game points (if you didn't already know) ZP is z8 points the companies point that you buy with real money.

z8 promised that there would be no advantages to zp and gp stuff but they lied... there was a time where if you had zp you were best because you couldn't get it with gp. but now you can get coupons in crates and buy coupon weps ( zp weps are included in them except shovel but im sure it will be added shortly.

Game review
For this game to be a Free FPS The graphics are great and the weapons look very realistic. I also like how you can change the color and type of crosshair you have. Also Do not waste your gp when you first start out because it is hard to get it back without spending zp! haha
One of the most creative matches besides the regular Team Death Match, Search and Destroy, and Elimination is ghost mode. It takes a lot of patience and hand eye coordination and listening skills. Its probably one of my favorite modes.

Hi,my name is svanced,and today i'm gonna write my review about my favorite online game,Crossfire.

Crossfire is a Massive Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter(MMOFPS,developed by SmileGate,published by Neowiz and G4BOX,curently hosted by Z8Games.

The Story:
There are two teams in this game,Global Risk and Black List.
Global Risk is a huge military organization without a national identity and is composed of discharged soldiers of Special Forces.
Black List however,is a mercenary corporation which sponsors terrorism.

Player Characters:
You have the option to play in either of these teams,with 5 characters:

1)OMOH(Russia):known as the "Black Berets" or the "Mafia Killers".They operate as a special police force in Russia.OMOH was organized in 1987 with the purpose of apprehending terrorists and gangsters.Their main task was to stop drug smuggling and violent crime.In October 2002,Chechen rebels took hostages at a theatre in Moscov.The OMOH was commended for their handling of the situation and the safe return of the hostages there.

2)SAS(England):Special Air Service,is a Special Force in England.They have the longest history and are a prestigious tradition within the English military.SAS is also well-known internationally and has been a great model for other Special Forces and it is famous for its rigorous selection proces and strict entry requirements.SAS is responsible for managing international conflicts related to England.

3)SWAT(America):In the early 1960's,the LAPD(Los Angeles Police Departament)and the FBI began organizing a joint-military system in order to combat the rising rate of crime in the city of Los Angeles.The result was the creation of a special force named S.W.A.T.(Special Weapons and Tactics Unit).In 1971,S.W.A.T. becamed a permanent force with a unified strucutre:small troops consisting of 6 soldiers and middle-sized troop consisting of 60 soldiers.Their contribution to city security attracted world attention and admiration during theLA Olympics in 1984.

4)SPOP(England):Is a Special Operations group,founded to combat terrorist activities and serious threats.They Have also been known to provide their servicies for the right price.

5)GSG-9(Germany):Border Guard Group 9, is the elite counter-terrorism and special operations unit of the German Federal Police.

The first 3 characters can be buyed with GP(GamePoints,points that you made by simply playng the game),also,when you make your first account,and get ingame,you can pick one of those to be your character ingame.
The rest of 2 characters,can be buyed with ZP(Z8gamesPoints),points that you can buy them with real money through different methods.

Gameplay:
There are 4 different gameplay modes in this game:

1)Search and Destroy(S&D):Win by eliminating all members of the opposing team or by completing a specific objective (such as detonating C4, defusing C4, etc).From 3 to 13 rounds, the first team to win the set number of rounds wins the match.This mode has an emphasis on team strategy and tactics.
2)Team Deathmatch(TD):The first team to reach the kill limit wins. The team with the most kills when the time limit expires wins.You can continuously participate in the match after re-spawning at your team base.
3)Elimination(EM):Similar to Team Match, each team must try to eliminate all members of the opposing team.From 5 to 13 rounds, the first team to win the set number of rounds wins the match.
4)Ghost Mode(GM):Crossfire's finest,the ace of it.An unique gameplay type,where the Black List is invisible if it's not moving ,and barely visible when moving,stop moving 2 seconds,and your invisible again.Black List can only use knives.They must blow up the target using C4, and attack the other team using stealth.Global Risk is normal,they can use weapons and they have to prevent Global Risk to destroy the targets.Global Risk team members can track Black List operatives based on the sound of their footsteps and by having very good eyes.

Clan system:
In Crossfire,your player's stats are recorded onto an online profile,where all your stats are "stored":The number of matches you played,how many times you won and how many times you losed,your total kills maded ingame,the number of people killed by headshots,how many times you died,your EXP,how many times you killed accidentaly a team member using a he grenade,and how many times you leaved your team mates in the middle of the fight,known as "desertion".
Beside this,there is a clan system.Players can team up in a clan,leaded by the person who created the clan,and helped by he's lieutenants(default slot for lieutants is 2,can be raised later).Maximum members in a clan is 21,can be raised later.When players make EXP,the EXP points are transformed into Clan Points,500 EXP meaning 1 Clan Point.Clan points count in the top 100 clans,the more points the clan has,the higher it's rank.Same thing for the players,and top 100 players,the more EXP you have,the higher your place.
Clans can participate in tournaments,clan wars,have fun togheter,train togheter,thing that you cant do alone,and also make friends in that clan.

Game's point values:
I've been talking about verious points,and now I'm gonna explaint them all.

GP(GamePoints):Points you made ingame,by playing any type of gamemode.GP can be used to reapair your weapons after each match,buying new weapons,and also buying different other items(character items,player items)

ZP(Z8gamesPoints):Points you can buy with real money,through different ways.ZP can be used to purchase different items,avaible only via ZP such as:Custom weapons,custom gears,etc.ZP can be also converted into GP.

BP(BonusPoints):Points you receive for free when buying ZP.BP are 10% from the ZP,if you haved buyed 5000ZP,then you will have 500BP for free.BP can be used also on rare items,but for the moment the number of them is small,more to come.

EXP(ExperiencePoints):Points you made ingame,by playng any type of gamemode.EXP it's your characters level.The more EXP you have,the higher your rank will be.On the first ranks,you get a total of 60000GP for free,if you make enough EXP.

CP(Clan points):Points that counts,only if you are a member of a clan.1 Clan points,means 500 EXP,so every time you make 500 EXP ingame,1 clan point will be added to your clan.

Black Market:
Another feature of the game,is the Black Market(BM)
Inside Black Market,there are different types of crates.What is a crate?
A crate is basically a "box"with different itemes in it.There are 2 types of crates:GP crates and ZP crates.
GP crates:1Gp crate is 2000 GP,by more than 1,and you will have discounts(buy 10 crates-16000GP).
ZP crates:Only if you have ZP,1 ZP crates is 1000ZP,the same,buy more,the less it will cost you.
On both types of crates you can win:A permanent custom,rare weapon(the "big" prise),a 7-day weapon(regular one,you can try it),GP(ammount varries from 100GP up to 5000GP),Crossfire coupons or just some sprays,namecards or kits(expand grenade slot or defuse faster C4)

Crossfire coupons:
As i said,when you play at the "crates" you can win 1 or more Crossfire Coupon.Therese coupons can be exchanged to rare/custom weaposn as well,for a limited period of time,of for ever(permanent).Under 50 coupons,the weapons are limited,over 50,up to 100,the weapons are permanent.

There are alot of weapons in this game,over 60,there are too much too tell right now,just gonna tell the important/famous ones:

Before I give my game review of Tantra Global I would like to tell my story in this game. I am a fourth year college student and having my thesis as my final requirement for graduation. So meaning I really don�t have much time to play any games. However before I took up my thesis I was already hooked-on to this game of tantra global. Tantra Global Neo Oriental Fantasy is my first online game that I really played with and rendered attention to. I started playing Tantra Global last year on the month of February for almost a year now. So when I asked myself to write a review about this game, I was kind of excited since its my first to write a game review of my first online game and pressured since I only played this game for 11 months and may not know much about this game more or so. Anyway I hope to give an honest and justifiable game review of Tantra Global. Here it goes�

Tantra Global Neo Oriental Fantasy is an online fantasy world which is heavily influenced by Hinduism and Indian mythology. One of Tantra Global�s good aspects are its setting and mythology which is executed brilliantly in its 3D form unlike any other which gives it more realistic view.

Registration for this game is very easy and convenient. Just 2 steps away and you have yourself your very own Tantra Global account. there are Eight Tribes to choose from, which seem to come in pairs, Deva/Garuda which is your basic sorcery or attack magic class, Naga/Kimnara which would be your tanks or bashers, Yaksa/Gandharva which is your basic priest or healers and Rakshasa/Ashura who are the ninja/archer/thief type. One interesting thing to note is that they all have male and female opposites. So you get to choose what sex you want for your character as you pleased them to be.
There are 4 vital statistics or Chakras in Tantral global, these being Muscle, Nerve, Heart and Mental. Muscle is about damage you inflict by hitting, Nerve is reaction time and ability to dodge blows, Heart is linked to your Health and how much damage you can take and Mental is linked to spells and how many spells you can cast. So no real surprises there. However, good chakra built makes a good character. And so this game gives its very own players the choice on how much chakras they are going to have. Chakra points are limited so better watch out. I myself much enjoyed changing my character�s chakra points and see for myself how they affect my game play whether it be PVP or killing monsters.
Any fan of India or Asia will feel right at home in the world of Tantra Global and likewise any fan of Asian RPGS, it really feels like the Korean answer to Final Fantasy XI and anyone who has played any of these kinds of games should have no problems with the click and point game-play.
Tantra online is based on the aging lithtech engine and this will come as either a positive or negative depending on your system.
For those with lower end gaming systems, the low system requirements make this game an option, World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XI require a minimum of 32mb of Video ram, Tantra Global only requires 16mb, this also makes it a good option for those with lower end laptops. You haven't played a MMORPG until you've played it lying in your bed!
This of course turns into a negative for those chasing high end graphical thrills and spills, although the game graphics never look or ugly or unappealing, they are comparable to middle generation playstation.
So yeah, Tantra Global looks good. Oh and did i mention that this game is free to play? Oh i forgot to? Well it is. Yup. You heard me. Free.
So far we have a Free to Play MMORPG with pretty, commercial quality graphics and an Indian-Asian theme... so how does it play?

Gameplay is often a subjective topic, so in my opinion? It plays pretty damn good.
It is fairly easy and the opening game goes quickly, you could easily expect to pass level 30 in probably 10 hours of play, things slow down a bit after that but you rarely ever find yourself hardcore grinding for levels, items are another mattter though... the community is ok depending on which server you choose, some are worse then others, Samadhi springs to mind as a server to avoid from the philipino servers as usual YMMV Standard usuage yada yada
So basically we have here a legitimate and FREE (download and play) contender
for games like World of Warcraft, Guild Wars and Final Fantasy XI. It is comparable to titles like these in many aspects and in no way feels cheap and nasty or 'ripped-off'. It feels like Tantra Online and it is good at what it does.

Questing Tantra Online has actually brought innovation in the questing department- for the most part. God Quests are an important feature of the game. They consist of an average generic quest/storyline that results in a hefty reward- god skill points. Depending on the type of god you chose to follow, you will gain special skills through your questing, mainly used for PVP. However, aside from these unique quests, everything is terribly generic, kill x monsters, gather y items. You may want to stay clear.

Graphics and sound Okay, so the graphics and the sound of this game are not the greatest. You may come to judge them both too quickly, but I suggest you give them time to grow on you. The sound is arguably of horrible quality. If you really dislike it, you can just replace it with a media player. As for the graphics, they should not be looked over so easily. They are quite old and are not of the greatest quality even on high settings, but they are also decent enough for a casual game. The lack of high end graphics also ensures the game will run quickly, and that does not mean the game looks bad. Sure the environments are bland and could be re-textured, but the skills are very flashy and entertaining to watch. The equipment your character wears can also be very appealing to the eye. This game offers a wide range of players due to this. Almost any computer now-days can run this simplistic game.

If you need a change from 'Mainstream' MMORPGs like WoW et al, then give it a try you'll probably like it.
If you are looking to just try MMORPGS out and are merely curious then i reccomend it as well, after all it's free what do you have to lose? Sure beats paying for Warcraft.
Likewise if you are on a budget and can't afford a new computer, if you have internet you can play online for free. Not too shabby eh?
Overall I give this game 8.3 out of 10. Pretty bloody good.
