Like the Grand Theft Auto RC missions come to life, this helicopter can grasp objects for transport. They don�t have to be a special size or shape, and it can lift them even if they are not centered. This is thanks to a load-balancing hand (originally developed as a prosthesis) that relies on flexible joints and a tendon-like closing mechanism. As you can see in the video, the light-weight chopper has an on-board camera so that the operator can see what is being picked up. This little guy has no problem lifting objects that are over one kilogram while remaining stable in the air.

The researchers will present their results at the ASME Dynamic Systems and Control Conference next month. They will detail how the helicopter hand was able to pick up a wooden block successfully in 20 grasp attempts, even when the hand was not positioned over the block's center.

The movie isn't awful; there are, in fact, some fun segments, such as the Fantasia-esque brooms coming-to-life sequence, the Chinatown dragon chase, and Balthazar's bringing a steel eagle to life. Otherwise, The Sorcerer's Apprentice hits all the beats and moments we'd expect from a summer film of this type, but its bereft of any genuine characters or heart. There's also a discernible lack of danger or urgency in the threat that Horvath poses since Balthazar keeps letting Dave take breaks from his sorcery lessons in order to go on dates with a girl from his class. Way to prioritize.

Mystery as spiral blue light display hovers above Norway

A mysterious light display appearing over Norway last night has left thousands of residents in the north of the country baffled.

Witnesses from Tr�ndelag to Finnmark compared the amazing sight to anything from a Russian rocket to a meteor or a shock wave - although no one appears to have mentioned UFOs yet.

Ok so recently I've been REALLY bored. Played through all the Half Lifes (1 through Episode 2). Then I got to thinking and installed Halo 1 for a bit so I could complete that Story Line. There it hit me. The little "Aliens" in Halo that infect the soldiers in Halo are Head Crabs from Half Life...

Now I know most have made this connect before (I just never thought of it). However once those Alien thingies infect someone it is just like a Zombie with a Headhumper on it from the Half Lifes. Even the position of the Alien spore is the same. Just thought it to be cheeky, and thought I'd share it.

The bad old days of expensive videogames is making a return this Christmas.

It comes as Modern Warfare 2 is confirmed by Activision to retail for �54.99 RRP when it is launched this November. It comes as a stark contrast to the Christmas of last year when games were heavily discounted and new titles were �20-�30 in cost.

A representative from THQ, another affected by trade costs told MCV that development and currency were to blame:

�Exchange rates between the Euro and the pound are making it very difficult for publishers to show an acceptable operating margin in the UK,� said Ian Curran.

�You can�t continue to trade as normal when the biggest territory in Europe has seen cost of goods increase by 30 per cent due to the strengthening of the Euro. Publishers somehow need to offset this drastic increase in costs. I�m not surprised to see the [Modern Warfare 2] SRP go up and I feel this will continue across more key titles.

�Also, development costs for next gen software has increased at a time when the take-up on these machines is slower than expected and therefore the opportunity to sell more units is limited. The increase in cost of goods due to the weak pound has added to this burden, and therefore something has to happen to ensure publishers� return on their investment.�

I'll try to sum it up by first telling you about the folks I work with:

First, there is this supermodel wanna-be chick. Yeah, okay, she is pretty hot, but shit is she completely useless. The girl is constantly fixing her hair or putting on makeup. She is extremely self-centered and has never once considered the needs or wants of anyone but herself. She is as dumb as a box of rocks, and I still find it surprising that she has enough brain power to continue to breathe.

The next chick is completely the opposite. She might even be one of the smartest people on the planet. Her career opportunities are endless, and yet she is here with us. She is a zero on a scale of 1 to 10. I'm not sure she even showers, much less shaves her "womanly" parts. I think she might be a lesbian, because every time we drive by the hardware store, she moans like a cat in heat.

But the jewel of the crowd has got to be the ****ing stoner. And this guy is more than your average pothead. In fact, he is baked before he comes to work, during work, and I'm sure after work. He probably hasn't been sober anytime in the last ten years, and he's only 22. He dresses like a beatnik throwback from the 1960's, and to make things worse, he brings his big ****ing dog to work. Every ****ing day I have to look at this huge Great Dane walk around half-stoned from the second-hand smoke. Hell, sometimes I even think it's trying to talk with its constant bellowing. Also, both of them are constantly hungry, requiring multiple stops to McDonalds and Burger King, every single ****ing day.

Anyway, I drive these ******s around in my van and we solve mysteries and shit.

I heard some reports that users visiting the forums using Internet Explorer browser were receiving some random error messages, which made it impossible for users to view the forums.

Can anyone who uses IE browser confirm whether this has occurred recently or in the past since the forums upgraded.

I suspect it was to do with the Twitter/Facebook module on the RIGHT (which i have now disabled, to prove my theory).

ehh im bored so i decided to recap a mishap that happened durin my summer football practice soooo

here me and some of my other teammates are walkin outta the varsity locker room and we just see our schools parking lot STACKED with cop cars and vans so we decide "ok lets get coach and as em wtf is going on" so we get coach and it turns out theres a drug bust near by so he leaves and we TRY to walk onto OUR football field and all the cops just go INSANE like "OMGWTFBBQ OFF DA FIELDZ NAO" and were like why and they respond the mayor is landing in on a helicopter so now we have to wait like 20 mins for a helicopter to come and when it does...hell breaks loose turf from the field (we use astro turf)comes flying out all over the place and benches litteraly skidded on the field on teh track and breaks holes into the track and trashes out back up field and Mr Bloomberg comes in says nothing about WHY hes here and just walk out of the school parking lot and we ended up sprinting on a very unstable field and practice was cut short

and i dont think hes gonna pay to repair the field that cost 1 MILLION dollars -.- thxs Bloomberg

Hello everyone! Do you enjoy much playing MMORPG games? I just started playing this addictive game and it really triggers my interest on PC stuff specially role playing games. WoW is the best but I didn't mean to say that others are not. I admire WoW it is because it was the MMO game that I started to play.

It's currently raining here so I made this thread. If you know something very nice to do during rainy days feel free to share it.
As for myself, I usually sleep or just stay inside and have a cup of warm milk and cookies. But as of now I'm at the office so sleeping is not an option. The best I could do is have a cup of hot coffee.

Alright for those that know me they know I've tried to get people to play Natural Selection which is a free Mod for Half Life 1.

1- Use an UPDATED Anti-Virus/Spyware/Adware. This is essential.
avg or Kaspersky is enough for that I think. btw. useing Iceword at the same time is better.

2- Don't use the same ID/Password of your game (SRO. in this case) on Forums.

3- Do NOT use illegal 3rd party programs (Cracked programs). Since most of 'em are viruses.

DO NOT use bot. I know its well for some lazy bones. BUT Its danger.

4- Be careful with the files you open (recent downloads). Also I'd recommend checking every

downloaded file with an anti-virus. Dont click the link if you dont know if its safe. I

played wow before.e bay is the best choice for the gold =). In Sro. I choose Gk player for

that. some of other 'gold sites' full with virus. Good Luck.

5- We all know this one. DO NOT share your accounts with others.

6- Keep the "Remember Me" option always checked. doing so will save you from re-typing your

account info if you've had a keylogger on your computer.

7- And the last but not least. ALWAYS use a secure password.

8- DO NOT TRUST ANYONE. who knows if the person you're giving your account info has

keylogger and such malicious programs on there computers. >.>

Recently I have come to a conclusion that most world organizations or committees are just large bodies of people designed to profit large corporations or reduce population levels around the world.

Bodies include (but not limited);

Bilderberg Group
Trilateral Commission
Council on Foreign Relations
World Bank
World Trade Organization
World Health Organization
IMF (International Monetary Fund)
and more...

Members of these groups consist of businessmen and politicians. 95% of Obama's Administration are part of one or more of these listed groups and funding received from election campaigns have been sponsored by businessmen who are also in the same field of interest.

Some of the major issues which are being portrayed "wrongfully" to the public and education system include;

Global Warming (claiming that carbon dioxide is the major reason - when the sun is the major component).
Increasing poverty by 18% since 1950 to 2000 (World Bank).
Placing many countries into debt to ensure their resources are sold to US corporations are cheap prices (World Bank). Examples include; Ecuador, Jamaica.
Introducing new health standards to the world in order to ban vitamins, herbal products and other material and ensure genetically modified materials and low-potency drugs are introduced into all countries (World Health Organization).
Introducing a global carbon tax in order to fund extreme regulations and introducing FEAR into communities (i.e. end of the world, give us money and we can save you).
Secret Societies such as the CFR, Trilateral Commission and Bilderberg (even things such as Freemasonry, Skull and Bones) acting undercover and out of public reach in order to establish short term and long term global goals (i.e. petrol pricing, pandemics, etc in order to promote new laws, regulations and rules into societies).

I have a few things that I would like to point out to you here...

Hey Everyone,

The other day one of the people I chat with, shared her brute link.

At First I thought it was some silly game and was not worth playing but I found myself creating more and more characters to get the config I like.

So how does it work?

It's more of a time killer than anything, but here is what you do.
First create a Character

Click on my link if you want to become my pupil, if no just go to the main site.
Put the name you would like (might take a couple of time to find a unused one)
If you do not like the way you your guy look (or girl) click on the left button to change the appearance
Same thing with the color of the character.

After the Character is created you go to Your Cell. There you can set a password for your Brute, also you will see the different stats and what your brute has for weapons and animals (if any). You are allowed 6 fights to begin with per day. Everyday after that you are allowed 3 fights. Normally you will get to level2 or even level 3 if you win all 6 fights in the first day. Each Level you get different things Life, Special skills, weapons.

The Battles:

The game is totally random so if you do not like your brute make a new one.

It might seem like a silly game at first but you get really into it once you start playing.

Couple of tips I have read:

Animals are great to have, but its all chance to make a couple of different brutes until you get one.
Clubs, Spears, Ninja Stars = Awesome weapons.
Check out the the brutes your going to fight. name.mybrute.com/cellule so mine is dice8.mybrute.com/cellule, the reason for this is to see if they will be easy or not. If they have a bear and stars then i would not go after them.
Figure out what your weakness are, and pick brutes to go against that are going to be easy.
Have fun. If you run out of battles create a new Character. No email address needed.

Also, You can create a clan after lv. 10

The title, which I am not 100% sure about is apparently - Night School. I dont know who the author is, but I believe its based on himself (i.e. self-biography). It was published around 1995-1996 and the cover of the book has the 2 Trade Centers (or Twin Towers) in the US.

I cant seem to find this book anywhere which leads me to believe it may be the wrong title. Basically I need anyone out there who can help me track the book or author down as I would like to buy/borrow this book to read.

The book is about a person who undergoes some kind of mental disorder who then goes under hypnotic therapy in order to maintain order. He describes in his book that he attended "night school" for 5 years without his parents knowing under a hypnotic trend. Eventually as he got older he remembered these trends and began to write this book. Basically he was able to visualize theories and aspects of life before it occurred. At the end of the book he proposed 12 theories which he mentioned to have come from his "night school" which represent the current state of the economy, religious aspects, war, etc. The interesting aspect is that he never mentions the two towers, yet the book cover shows them (in 1996) which leads people to believe that this is one his predictions based on his "night school".

If anyone can locate this book for me please let me know

So, how was everyone's valentines day? or otherwise known as the crappiest most pointless holiday / day out of the year. Whether it be a Valentines lovey-dovey day or if you're celebrating Singles awareness Day, lets hear your stories!

My day was filled with lots of single awareness, but in a good way. Drove around, ate lunch out with my mom, went to the batting cages, got some driving practice in, had a great dinner with the family. Overall good day!
